I don't want it to happen. The only foreign country would be Canada which actually has an NBA team.

If they want the All-Star game in another country the place to have it is China. The fans there went crazy just to see a Pre-Season game between the Rockets and Kings. China loves basketball and go Crazy when Yao is in town. Imagine when 2 teams filled with the greatest players in the world come to town.

I plan on going to that game. The lockout better not get in the way!

They should have one right here in Wade county. All Star weekend in Miami would be huge. You got the whole South Beach thing which is off the hook. We really need All Star weekend down here.

I wouldn`t mind if the events would happen in Paris or anywhere in the world. It`s good to see the association trying expand the game farther around the world.

Yeah, screw that man. This is our country and our league. Why should we have to travel to another country to watch the game in person?

The game would also probably be played at an early rime in US because of the time zones.

Does Puerto Rico have any cities big enough(may be an ignorant question, but its a honest one), or with a fan base to sustain an NBA team?

And, I would love to see it in Toronto, and 2008 WOULD have been bid upon by Toronto(but we are building a nice new complex to complement the ACC) so I think we are gonna bid(and IMO get it) in 2009.

On to Paris, I think its a good idea, but would rather see it in a different North American city first.

Absolutely it does, Puerto Rico is a top spot for tourists, so they would have plenty of accomadations available to host it.

Puerto Rico also has a strong basketball following, and plenty of players at all levels of the game.

I don't like the idea of the All-Star game being played in Paris. Globalization is fine, but use the pre-season games for that, not the All-Star game. The All-Star game can generate so much income for a city who hosts it. The league should only allow cities with an actual NBA franchise to have the rights to host the event.

Ya down here in Miami! why have an all star game in France, when you can have an all star game in Miami, the home of the celebrities and beaches, Miami's the perfect spot for an all star game.

Let's not stereotype an entire race, that's no better than what a lot of French do with Americans.

BTW- Anyone who is anti-French, I hope you don't bank at Bank of America, because they own it.
