My new idol... I can't believe him. I heard how clutch he was before, but I never knew he was this much... I mean the dunk, then 3, the constant scoring.. this guy is really somethign else.
Yeah that was the first time I saw him playing clutch. He's knowm for and all but this was the first time I saw him play this way. That dunk was a amazing and when he shot that three I was saying that is the dumbest shot then he nade like you said he is my new idol.

People talk and talk about how Kobe is the most clutch player in the game but thats just wishful thinking. Robert Horry is the most clutch, maybe the 2nd most clutch to MJ, player that has ever played the game. He's been making huge shots all his life. I remember watching him during the Houston championship run and he was simply unbelievable. Thats why you want a guy like that on your team come crunch time. Dont be surprised to see him playing in Miami next season.
Robert Horry delivered in the clutch yet again. His clutch play was huge for the Spurs, and his final 3 ended up winning the game. He made plenty of plays down the stretch, and had a great 4th quarter. He had 21 points and 7 rebounds off the bench, and went 5-6 from 3.

I also think he's a motivational factor and now the Pistons defense can't afford to lay off him, so he should open up other areas for the Spurs offense. We'll see tomorrow night. JT
I dont know why but i thought this thread was gonna be about me. OH well. Horry did play well with those last couple of plays. I think the Spurs are gonna take.
What is there to say, the man is pure greatness. Always a fan no matter what team hes on. Just so you can check it just in case some of you dont know what hes great for and what he did before. This is what he did for the Lakers... the exact same thing he's doing for you guys right now. Heres a vid http://s35.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0G5AAXG...XT0TVHAI6846NYB Songs pretty cool too lol
I can't believe what this guy can do. I mean sometimes you think it's just luck but he can't get lucky so many times. It's unbelievable, I always thought the best clutch shooter was Reggie Miller, but this just changed my thoughts.
wow that was an incredible game for him. i have never seen him play like that. lets see if he can play like that in the next game
Omg, he is this time best clutch shooter Its unbelievable what he did in game 5..this dunk and 3pts...I think now it is over for Pistons they cant win last 2 in San Antonio..i hope Horry makes one more good perfomence and he is MVP !
A big-time player made a big time shot. If the Spurs win the championship, Tim Duncan should buy him a Lamborghini or something. It amazes me how Horry always hits the big shot in pivotal games; must-wins. He hit that three in 2001 against the Kings to avoid losing the series, then in this game which is a very important one. I can't recall a situation where Horry hit a big game winning three in the regular season or when a series is at 3-0.
Horry is just simply amazing. I dont understand how he does it. I have alot of respect for him because he is a proffesional and you can tell hes just having fun on the court.
what yall know bout ROBERT HORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY Dude's been bringin that playoff heat since his days as a Rocket...this man was born to play in the playoffs...
was amazing shot by Rob but an even bigger 4th quarter and OT to give Spurs a chance. However the Pistons choked this game away and with being defending champions I didn't expect them to fail so badly in the closing stages of that game.
I dont think they really chocked, no way the spurs woulda won without Robert Horrys performance. I was jumping up and down when he made that last 3 pointer lol. Reminds of of the Lakers vs Sacramento game when he made that game winner in LA.

I have a feeling the Spurs are going to put a lot of 3's up tonite. It's hard to be patient but that posession of the 9 passes was simply being patient, it was a work of art. I think that 3 pointer by Horry got into the Pistons heads big time. Look for the the Spurs to come out running, they want it over tonite. If you look at the overall 3 pt. stats the Spurs have more than a 3 to 1 advantage in the series. I'm sure the Big 3 for Detroit won't roll over and play dead, could get very physical. Big Bob is ready to start filling up the other hand with championship rings and I think he'll probably stay with the Spurs until he retires, possibly adding 2-3 more rings. Going to be great can't wait. Beer is already chillin and it don't cost $5+ JT
