Carolina has like a Falcon curse on them or a Mike Vick curse. If they beat the Falcons this year they win the divsion. As for Thomas Davis laying him out. ROOKIE. that is the word that comes to mind.

Thomas Davis is the reason the panthers picked him ahead of Derrick Johnson. Davis has a lot more speed than DJ. John Fox brought him in to stop vick

In time he will be great but if your depending on a rookie to stop Vick you might as well settle for 2nd. Panthers are a very dangerous team with that said though and that is going to be one hell of a race to watch this season.

Carolina has the best D-line in football, maybe we could trade D-Lines for ahwile lol! The Packers do have Kris Jenkins' little bro on our line though look for Cullen Jenkins to have a big year in this new scheme.

You won't need your front four to give Vick 2 seconds throwing the ball, the Falcons OL already does that.

how come no one mentioned julius peppers besides panthersare#1. Peppers is almost always the fastest guy on the field and he plays DE. I also saw a couple panthers games where in goal line situations they would line him up at WR. Julius Peppers is an amazing athlete and a freak at the DE position. Also Randy Moss was an excellent basketball player, and for anyone to say hes not a tremendous athlete is mind blowing. The guy has more raw athletic ability than anyone in the league along with matt jones. Also Chris Gamble started off his career at Ohio State as a wide out, they moved him to DB in his sophmore season against Penn State. So how can someone who can be a starting wide out on a championship team be only sub par?

i agree with what hoodie says. Peppers is gonna get a couple TDs at WR. No other DE could play WR. Chris Gamble could start for the panthers if Steve Smith or Keary Colbert go down.

You know, Sapp played TE a couple of times, but I would hardly call him an outstanding athlete. He even scored some touchdowns.

Sapp is a washed up player, he should of never been a 3-4 player.

Deion is still fun to watch even at his age. If I had to say I would probably say Vick over peppers. Based on there are a lot of fast DE's now. I think Dwight Freeny who wasn't mentioned is just as fast as peppers and probably faster off the ball.

The difference between Peppers and Frenny, is that Peppers had 2 INTS and avgs 71.5 yards per INT return and 1 TD. When Vick got hit and the ball was in the air he grabed it with one hand and ran for a TD.

Peppers is also the Panthers Goalline WR.

you cant but vrabel in the same league as peppers, you can not honestly say that u believe that vrabel is as good as an athlete as peppers thats almost as ignorant as saying that refrigerator perry is as good as an athlete as peppers. The play peppers made against the falcons when he caught that ball going full speed reaching behind him and catching it one handed and then taking off down the field. He def. did not look like a DE running down the field he looked like an olympic sprinter

Frenney is faster off the ball, but Peppers can chase down RBs, that is how fast Peppers is. When Kris Jenkins returns to the lineup, who is the best player on the panthers defense, Peppers wont get double teamed and he will get lots of sacks.

Your obviously mentally challenged for thinking I was serious...come on now... pick up your brain and use it before calling someone else ignorant...
