I strongly believe that the Houston Rockets should be aiming for this YOUNG player over J Kid as our Point Guard.

    ^^Some of his Stats^^^

He has the best dribbling skills and crossovers along with good 3 point shooting. He will aslo get you 6 assists per game.

JKIDD was injured for a good part of the year, and he is a good leader unlike Skip, and Skip isn't as young as many think he is. He's 30 in July.

Whoever said we were going for Jason Kidd. He's old and extremely injury prone. Plus he has a huge contract which would completely put us in salary cap hell. He's a good playmaker, but I definitely want us to be going for someone who's a lot younger. Rafer Alston would not be the point guard I want for Houston. He has an attitude problem and with Van Gundy as coach, I can see some problems arising. Oh yeah, and I don't think he has enough playmaking skills for us. We need someone who is willing to defer to Yao and McGrady but also knows how to set himself or other players up.

Alston + Van Gundy = Personality Clash

Believe me, I know. After all, I've been watching Alston for a season in Toronto. He is totally inadept at guarding pick and rolls and his three point shooting is erratic. His contract also isn't exactly small and is a long term one.

I'll lock this thread because it doesn't have any credibility to it. I think we should look towards getting Garnett. Is it plausible though?
