Louis Williams promise?

    The only promise he got was that they were definitely NOT drafting him.

    It sounds like BS. I could see them taking him with their 2nd round pick but no way will he get picked in the 1st round.

    Maybe if the Pistons GM was Scott Layden but the Pistons GM is Joe Dumars. One of the best in the league, he isn't foolish enough to waste a first rounder on Williams.

    Louis put it best himself recently: "If I had a promise, why would I be here in Sacramento?"

    He said he impressed Larry Brown in a workout, and that's been twisted into claims of a promise.

    I could see them taking him in the 2nd round.The pistons dont really have that many needs in the draft and if he impressed larry brown in workouts. They might just take a chance on williams.
