I did this for a different post but I said this is way too good so I should post it again and ask. What are your breakdown of your team?

With Burress coming in that fills the number one spot. WIth that filled in it opens up Toomer as a nice safety option. Shockey is there as well as a nice safety blanket as well. Then theres Tiki Barber, who just kicksass bottomline. So the question is Eli. But there he has 4 possible Pro Bowl players to throw to. He will make 2nd year mistakes but as long as he evens every game out with a td and an int's and let the running game carry through they will have no problem.

The Will's(Peterson and Allen) are now into year 4 and I think they'll keep progressing into SOLID Cb's. Alexander in the time he played at the safety position was consistently a playmaker. The stats m9ight not say it but its true. Gibril Wilson Stepped up as a rookie last year but got hurt. They are getting Shaun Williams back after a year of injuries. The LB corps is going to be solid. Antonio Pierce may have been the steal of Free Agency. Barrett Green will have a second chance to prove himself as well. The Defensive LIne will be fine. We are weak at the DT position but we signed some veteran's just incase. This will be William Joseph's make or break year. Strahan and Umenyiora both had good but injury plagued season although Umenyiora's were minor he had a breakout year for a 2nd year player.

NOw what everyone questions about teh giants year in and out. teh Offsnsive line, will it hold up? Yes it will my friends. Ill tell you why. They Signed Kareem Mackenzie over the off season. They have Luke Petigout who has been solid throughout his career. Chris Snee was great last year, stepped into that Guard role like no one's business. Shaun O'hara will have a second chance to prove himself he struggled with injuries all of last season. He is a vet and I beleive he can bounce back. We also signed BIG BOB Whitfield from atlanta, he'll prove to be a leader for the young guys even if he isnt starting.

QBs - Favre will have another solid year if he stays healthy. It would be nice to have Walker and Franks in the fold. If they sit out this year, Favre won't hit 4000 passing again this year.

WRs - Hopefully Walker plays. If he doesn't, they'd better hope that Ferguson comes all the way back from his injuries and that their rookies step up. There's not much out there in the way of FA's. Donald Driver should have another 1000 yard season, regardless.

RBs - Ahman Green had an off year last year compared to the year before. He may be losing a step. However, this is a contract year, so I expect big things. Davenport will be back, even though Rosen-Dick is representing him. Luchey and Henderson are back and still in great shape. RBs should have another solid year.

TEs - Without Franks, the Pack is screwed. None of the guys they have in camp can contribute much. They need to do something fast.

OL - Losing Wahle and Rivera will hurt, but not as bad as everyone thinks. There's lots of depth here and when the Pack puts their five best guys on the field, this will still be a top 5 unit in the NFL.

DL - Eh...the Packers NEED Grady Jackson. Lots of question marks here. Tons of guys with tons of potential. The Packers need at least two of the younger guys to step up. Hunt sucks. I hope they cut him. Kampman and KGB have great motors, even though they're undersized.

LBs - Diggs and Barnett are solid. The Pack needs their free agent from the Cards (Ray Thompson) to step in and play well or Navies needs to have a "comeback" year. Not too worried about the LBs.

Secondary - Eh...this is the HUGE question mark for the Pack this year. Al Harris is the only real proven commodity here and he proved last year that he can't do it all. Thomas and Carroll will battle for the #2 and #3 spots. Earl Little and Arturo Freeman will start at Safety and play adequately, I'm sure. I expect at least one rookie safety to be in the starting lineup by the end of the year, though.

The Packers this year will go only as far as their secondary allows them to go. They gave up huge yards and huge points last year (Packers' records for futility), so they need to clamp down or the Pack will be headed for 8-8.

There you go... My two (or five) cents... [IMG]

Sorry Bro but Toomer probably wont be a pro bowler.

I dont see Favre doin so well this year. He had a solid year last year but with the hold out situation he cant just rely on Feurgeson and rookies. Im not saying he'll do bad because he has Ahman but hes not the same Favre he used to be and cant win games by throwing to just fergueson and rookies. Walker needs to suck it up and start playing or the Packs in trouble. I see them at 7-9

The Giants of course are gonna go 16-0 [IMG]

Funny how an off year for Green means hes not the same. If Green stays healthy he will be a top 2 back in the NFC if not the best. Driver and Feugason will be fine and thinking Walker won't play is way to prematuer. 1 player holding out won't ruin this offense. It will be a top 5 offense again.

Favre will do fine again this year. I see 26 TD's and 18 picks for 3600 yards. Favre like numbers. anywhere from 8-8 to 10-6 I see out of the Pack with a possible WC or at least contend for one.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

QB- Carson Palmer is coming off a decent year in essentially his rookie season, Jon Kitna is considered the best back up QB in the league, Casey Bramley just came off a good year in NFL Europe, and we also signed Craig Krenzel...

WR- Chad Johnson is a top five wideout. Houshmanzadeh broke out last year. Peter Warrick is back from injury. Chris Henry is making great progressions as a rookie.

RB- RUDI RUDI RUDI...need i say more...just holds the single season record for most rushing yards as a bengal...Corey who?

OL- All returning starters with two pro bowl calliber tackles in willie anderson and levi jones.

DL- Justin Smith switches to left end to get more favorable matchups, Also signed a big run stuffer.

LB- Pro bowl talent Brian Simmons, along with Odell Thurman, and David Pollack...also very deep at LB with landon johnson, caleb miller, khalid abdulluh, and nate webster,

DB- Deltha O Neal and Tory James a cb both pro bowl talent and the safety positions are up for grabs.

Offense

QB-Favre remains one of the best QBs in the game and his production should not waiver much even if he loses Javon Walker for the season. 25+ TDs with 15+ Interceptions. Aaron Rodgers wont see much time except at Mop up dutey. Craig Nall and JT O'suliven will duke it out for the 3rd roster spot and as of now Nall has been declared the back up.

WR-Favre has made several Wide Receivers into Pro Bowlers over the years. Even if Javon Walker holds out we still have a great Wide out in Donald Driver who should still put up 1000+ yards. Robert Ferguson has everything that Walker has but is not as durible, If he is taken off Special Teams he may be able to put up big numbers if Walker decides to sit. Terrence Murphy has great potential but most likely will be a Special Teamer along with fellow draftee Craig Bragg. Antonio Chatman should remain a solid 3rd or 4th option.

TE-Bubba Franks' return is key here, without Bubba the Tight ends are nothing, Nick Luchey could be used here if no other options seem plausible. David Martin hasn't produced like expected and Ben Steele hasn't shown much promise either.

HB-Amahn Green's down year could be considered a great year for some. 1150 yards is by no means a down year but compared to 1800 the year before it can be called so. Green remains one of the best backs in the NFL but has to work on his fumblitis to keep it that way. His Physical running style can disrupt a defense but can also lead to nagging injuries, Green is in a contract year so he should put up at least 1200+ yards. Najeh Davenport also in a contract year along with Tony Fisher should give Green the rests he needs to stay a sucessful back and should both produce at least 400+ all purpose yards.

O-line- The Packers may have lost two of the best Gaurds in the league with Marco Rivera and Mike Whale but should still be prety solid at Gaurd
with the additions of athletic but oft injured Adrian Klemm and veteran bruser Matt O'Dwyer, Grey Ruegamer is another option there aswell as Kevin Berry, Tauscher maybe moved inward to make room for Berry at Right Tackle. Chad Clifton and Mark Tauscher form one of the best Tackle tandems in the nfl, Center Mike Flanigan is in a contract year and is fully healthy, Scott Wells has proven to be an effective back up and possible starter at center.

FB-William Henderson is still one of the beast Full backs in the league despite his age. Nick Luchey and Vonta Leach will fight it out for the back up spot and Luchey will hopefully emerge the victor due to his abillity to play Tight End aswell.

Rudi actually struggled alot. Yea he go the yards but I remeber watching him have a couple of 20 carry 50 yard type games. He is a bit inconsistent, also past Brian Simmons you guys have mediocrocy at LB. You hvae like 5 borderline starters but there all nothing special.

first off i watched every game rudi play every game last year and the year before, and its his first year as a starter so hes not gonna be super consistent. And your lb comment can be expected from an outsider. But with pollack moving to OLB it helps a lot and we now have a legit MLB whereas in the past we had people playing there out of position. And if you question Pollack dont forget that marvin lewis changed peter boulware from a DE to a pro bowl OLB in Baltimore

SAINTS

OFFENSE

(B+)QB - Aaron Brookshas shown signs of finally taking his roll as a elite QB, but when Deuce is hurt and the OL sucking it makes it hard. This year i think Brooks will be back in the top 10, maybe top 5, if the Sheppard plays his cards right. Also Adrian McPherson was a steal in the draft.

(A-)RB - A healthy Deuce McAllister is extremely lethal for opponents, especially with Mike Karney become a headache for LBs. This whole offense is in the hands of former QB coach Mike Sheppard. If he can bring back the Saints 2003 offense with a little more touch, they'll be unstoppable. That's a big if though.

(B+)WR - WHO's OLD???? Not Hollywood Joe. If Horn can give another year like last then this team shouldn't have a problem with airing the ball. Also Donte' Stallworth's finally showing promise again and with the 3rd WR battle going on between young speedster Devery Henderson and old speedster Az Hakim I have confidence our receiving core will be lethal.

©TE - Ernie Conwell seems to have the starting job as of now, but with the signing of former Titan Shad Meier that could change. Boo Williams could easily still be in the hunt, if he makes the final cut, but as of now Conwell will have to do until other wise.

(B-)T - At LT we have veteran Wayne Gandy who wasn't quite up to par on his game last year, but who was on the Saints OL *cough* VICTOR "FULL START" RILEY *cough*, and at RT we have the best OT in the 2005 draft Jammal Brown. If Gandy can play like he did in '03 and Brown continues to get better, then look for one if not both of these guys in the Pro Bowl.

(B+)G - With the addition of former Eagle veteran RG Jermayne Mayberry, this OL just boosted their ratings. LG Kendyl Jacox didn't too bad last year and with new additions to the right side, he and Gandy can finally rest from being the strong side(Left).

(A+)C - LeCharles Bentley, nuff said!!!!!

DEFENSE

(A)DE - Charles Grant, Will Smith, Darren Howard and Willie Whitehead are arguablly in the top 3 for best DE combo. Sacks from 2004: Howard(10.5), Grant (10), Smith(7.5), Whitehead(2). Look for the same thing in '05.

(D+)DT - The Saints haven't had a decent DT since La' Roi Glover. Brian Young has his moments here and there along with Rodney Leisle. Howard Green improved tremendously the last 4 games of the season last year. The big question is Jonathan "BIG BUST" Sullivan. He has the talent, he's just extremely lazy. Hopefully this year he takes his head out of his ass and gets some damn respcet.

(C-)LB - Another Saint weakness that has been an issue for years. With OLB Derrick Rodgers gone(IR) he's giving up his starting spot to rookie OLB Colby Bockwoldt, who has shown the most improvement out of the whole LB corp. MLB Courtney Watson has shown some promise along with OLB James Allen in the final games of last year.OLB Sedrick Hodge has fallen. The addition of OLB Levar Fisher and UCONN stud MLB Alfred Fincher might stir things up for some competition.Cie Grant has been switched to WSLB from MLB to prevent less wear and tear on his knees. Which could be really good or really bad. We'll see.

(B-)CB - The addition of Mike McKenzie couldn't have been at a better time, we needed a shutdown CB really bad. Fakhir Brown earned the starting spot from veteran Fred Thomas in the middle of the season last year, which turned out to be a good thing in the long run. Jason Craft is still considered a very respectable dime package CB. Jimmy Williams is a good addition to give competition to Freddy and Jason.

(B+)FS - Dwight Smith and Josh Bullocks have potential to be a really strong force for the Saints. Smith is a decent ballhawk with excelent field awareness, unlike Tebucky. Bullocks may switch to SS by mid season, but that all depends on Bellamy's play. Bullocks is a ballhawk for sure, but tends to bite alot, which will get you in trouble in the NFL.

(C+)SS - Jay Bellamy was the Saints defensive savior in '03. Besides his small size you can't say one bad thing about the guy, okay maybe his getting a little old. Mel Mitchell is a very strong ST player and should be starting if it wasn't for a early injury in '04. Expect Bullocks or Mitchell to be the starter come August.

SPECIAL TEAMS

([IMG]K - John Carney is getting old and he's starting to lose his touch, but he's still a good 40+ kicker.

(A+)P - Mitch Berger is also getting old, but that shouldn't slow him down for another year or two.

(B)KR/PR - Michael Lewis once was a threat back in '02 and showed a little bit of that in late '04. If he can shine like he did in '02 then we're back in business. Also Aaron Stecker is a KR beast.

COACHING

(B-)HC - Jim Haslett squirmed his way out of being fired last year, thanks to his 4 game run. He'll have the same situation going into this year. If he doesn't turn this playoff potential team around, he'll be seeing the door end of next year.

(B+)OC - Mike Sheppard should be a better OC then McCarthy, having being Brooks QB coach for 3 years should be a big help. Also the addition of Johnny Roland, former RB coach for Ahman Green, Jerome Bettis and the great Waltor Payton, should give Deuce something to be happy about.

(I for IGNORANCE, INCOMPETENCE AND IDIOTIC play calling all f*cking year long)DC - Rick "DOG SHIT" Venturi still has a job and i don't care to talk about this issue with anyone. GO f*CK YOURSELF VENTURI!!!!!!!!!!!!

OVERALL GRADE: B+

VIKINGS

QB- If it wasn't for Peyton Manning, we'd all be considering Daunte's '04 campaign as one of the best ever for a QB. 4,700 yds, 37 TD's. Numbers should slide this year with more emphasis on the run game, and with Randy Moss being gone. But I think he is the 2nd best QB in the game, and he will still produce.

RB- With Onterrio Smith suspended for the year, that leaves most of the carries to Michael Bennett, who should shine this year if healthy. Great depth is the key for the Vikings, who have Moe Williams and Mewelde Moore waiting in the wings, if necessary.

TE- Getting H-Back Jim Kleinsasser is going to help the run game. Getting Jermaine Wiggins re-signed was big. Wiggins led the team in receptions last year, so production is not an issue.

WR- Nate Burleson is an emerging star in the NFL. Burleson had 68 recepts for 1006 yds last year, in his first full season. He also had the longest punt return for a touchdown last year. He is the clear cut no.1 heading into the season. With Troy Williamson drafted at no.7, the Vikings made sure they filled the void of Randy Moss with speed. His deep speed should help the run game. Marcus Robinson showed flashes of his 1999 season, when he was healthy, and he should be a solid no. 3 WR. I can't see the signing of Travis Taylor having much significance on the 2005 season.

OL- Bryant McKinnie is a stud, he is becoming a major force at LT. Getting Mike Rosenthal back at RT is big. The main point here is keeping Pro-Bowler Matt Birk healthy. He should be 100% by kickoff weekend. Without Birk at center, this OL is a completely different unit. Losing veteran David Dixon may hurt, but 2nd Round pick Marcus Johnson is a moose, and he should be capable of the job.

Defense

DL- Could be one of the best in the NFL this year. Kevin Williams is just an absolute force. Bringing in Pat Williams to take some of the double teams away could boost Kevin's stats even more. Kenechi Udeze should be better in his 2nd season, but Lance Johnstone will probably come in on pass rushing downs. Lance had another quiet double digit sack season, giving him 21 over the past 2 seasons. 1st round pick Erasmus James should be a dominant player from week 1. He has the tools to do it all.

LB- Bringing in Napoleon Harris and Sam Cowart should improve this group drastically. This allows EJ Henderson to move to the weak side, because he just looked flat out lost in the middle last year. The lineup should look like this: WLB-EJ Henderson/Dontarrious Thomas, MLB-Sam Cowart, SLB-Napoleon Harris.

DB- With Fred Smoot joining forces with Antoine Winfield, the Vikings have one of the best CB tandems in the game. I am still skeptical about the signing of Darren Sharper, just because he has trouble staying healthy, but regardless, he's an upgrade over Brian Russell. Corey Chavous should put up this year to prove he's worthy of a new contract. If he returns to his 2003 Pro Bowl form, look out NFC North.

Special Teams

With the Vikings no longer using kickers who qualify for the senior discount at IHOP, they signed Paul Edinger who I think will be solid this year, benefitting from playing 10 indoor games this year. Punter Darren Bennett was absolutely brutal last year, I think he is past his prime. Losing kick returner Onterrio Smith for the year should hurt the return game. I have no idea who they will use to return kicks or punts this year.

Only one thing I disagree with and that is Troy Williamson. He isn't going to be the #2. #4 as of now and probably going into the seasons.
Why?

1. Marcus Robinson is a proven #2 and Kelly Cambell is holding onto the #3 spot. You want to talk speed Cambell is the fastest Vikings wideout.

2. Troy Williamson hasn't played up to par in mini camps. He has dropped his fare share of balls which don't look good.

3. I think the kid is under some pressure because your being compared to Randy Moss. Not something a SC reciever who grew up in a running type offense expected in his 1st year of football.

Overrall nice job.

I seriously think Kelly Campbell may be on his way out with his legal troubles, and he has never gotten along with Mike Tice. This is just a hunch, but I think he's gone.

He is to good of a talent to release and besides Tice's job isn't any safer than Kelly Cambells roster spot especially after this season. If Minnesota doesn't get to the 2nd rnd of the playoffs or even the NFC Title game he is out. To much talent going to waste with one of the worse coaches in the game.
