After a Wild season that saw the first point guard since Magic Johnson to win the MVP, its come down to one game between in my opinion, The 2 best teams. Weve played 2460 games with over 118080 minutes of game time showing some of the greatest plays ive seen (note. carters 360 left hander and more recently Horrys 3's and Stoudemaires blocks) its definetly been all that ive lived up to! its all or nothing now! and detroit play the perfect ball for this situation. Larry Brown is 5-0 when trailing 3-2 and taking the series! Miami were disposed off easily. but its a different story with both teams having full squads, im sure it will be a great match, i hope its a Quadrulpe over time! PLEASE! i sooooo want to see that! In a season that had soooooooo much, Reggie Millers Retirement, Detroit V Pacers ( we all remember that!), Nash MVP, Charolotte Bobcats Expansion, T-macs 13 in 35 secs. I meen i could sit here and relive soooo much. Its been such a great year that we deserve a great match, and thanks we got it! My Pic: Spurs in 4th Overtime, Ginobilli 35, Duncan 40 and Quadruple Double, Billups 56! Duncan MVP, he deserves it! Sorry Dee-troit fans, im a duncan fan! but i want a great game either way! GOOD LUCK BOTH TEAMS, STAFF AND SUPPORTERS!
Yes. I agree it's the perfect way to finish off a great season with the two best teams battling it out at the end, and what makes it sweeter is a new CBA is reached before the season is even over! However, I have a deep gut feeling that it's going to come down to a miss/bad call that decides this series. I really hope I ain't right, but with the way veteran officials are calling the games (Bevetta, Salvatore, Crawford, Friar, Jordan), it's very likely. Hope it doesn't happen though.

Woooooow, that would be the greatest game ever played and the score would be crazy. It would prolly destroy many records (atleast 2,longest game and biggest score) Too bad it won't happen but having a 7 game series in the finals is crazy! It's the best thing that can happen for basketball fans,Id like to see the Spurs win cause Pistons fans will start to act dumb like this year.

If the Spurs and Pistons went to four overtimes both teams would be lucky to break 100 points.
I thought that San Antonio had Game 6 but the Pistons must have been fired up after they heard that plans for the parade is on Thursday. I'll be sure to watch game 7 for sure and I hope that it goes down to the last possession. It's going to be a dogfight again and even though I predicted San Antonio to win Game 6, I believe thats its anyone's game at this point.
Spurs mental toughess will be questioned big time in game 7. The Pistons know what It takes to win game 7's. The Spurs have never been involved in one. So all in all I think the Pistons have the mental advantage heading into game 7 but the game being on the Spurs homecourt helps but to be honest homecourt has never mattered to the Pistons when It comes to must win games. Going to be another classic I hope.

The Pistons have been in that situation before and have come back from potentially season-ending series twice in their championship run; one against the Nets and another one against the Heat. It should be a great series and in the end, I?m going with the Pistons in a close, win with Billups and/or Rasheed coming up big in the 4th quarter.

Does anyone else have a feeling that the officiating throughout the series have been subpar? Last night I thought they called way too much touch fouls in the first half then in the second half they were more lenient. I mean, there were so much technicals because the calls were so questionable. Might be just me though. As for game seven, I say Detroit. They've been through tough times before and know how to handle the pressure. San Antonio on the other hand, no.
Is it just me, or did Manu just made real real stupid decisions in the last 2 minutes? I don't know how many TO's he got, but it was awful seeing him driving and losing the ball almost everytime.

yeh the turnovers were a big part of the reason why the pistons won i think. Between parker(mr t.o) and ginobilli they had 7 to detroits hamilton and billups who had only 2. costly mistake and they paid for it. everytime i see parker drive he losses the ball. he reminds me of myself when driving! i always loss the ball! CMON QUADRULPE OVERTIME!
This whole series has been exciting to watch!! San Antonio had 2 blow-out'z in game'z 1 and 2. Then Detroit came back and had 2 blow-out'z in game'z 3 and 4. Then you finally had that close game 5 where San Antonio took it by 1 point. Detroit showed why they were the defending champ'z in game 6 forcing the first game 7 in the nba final'z in 11 year'z. I think Detroit we repeat as champion'z with the work of Chauncey Billups, Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace, Richard Hamilton, Tayshuan Prince and 6 man Antonio McDyess!!! Deetroit B-A-S-K-E-T-B-A-L-L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The refs need to swallow their whistles, they are calling too many ticky tack fouls. Joey Crawford has about 5 of them on post players and he's the backside official. They just need to let these two teams battle it out.
Detroit leads at the half 39-38 .. Leading Scorers - Ben Wallace (12) & Robert Horry (10) Foul Trouble - Sheed (3) Low scoring first half, but both teams were strong defensively. There have been 21 foul calls already in the game. Both teams look a little tight offensively, but I expect a higher scoring 2nd half once the players settledown and some adjustments are made.
