The title says it all. However, first and foremost, I'm against him making the HOF. But at the same time you never know what might happen because now days anybody can get inducted into the HOF. Well some guys over on the ESPNEWS channel brought this up. And here are the arguments they brought up for him as possible inductee to the HOF, and those arguments are as follow:

    1) Horry has made the Playoffs every season he's been in the league

    2) He?s arguably the most clutch Playoff shooter in NBA History.

    3) ?And most importantly granted that the Spurs win he will obtain his 6th ring. There is not too many who can show of all that gold with exception of some guys named Michael Jordan, Bill Russell and so on.

Now while those are only three arguments, there aren?t many if not any players that have that under their r?sum?. They said if he doesn't make the HOF he should at least make it to Springfield(Ballot). So what?s your take on this? Again, I think it's farfetched but if they even considered it, somebody might agree with it.

No he is not a hall of famer. He has never been the star of any of his teams and hasnt lead the NBA in any of the major categories.

He is one of the best clutch players to play the game and he is a very, very good player and has a shot at his 6th ring but I don't think he meets HOF criteria.

this is a laugh, he was a really good player, an even more clutch player, but no hall of fame for him, maybe he'll be on a ballot, though

If the HOF was based on the playoffs alone, I would say yes. But like already mentioned, he does not have the stats in the regular season that is HOF status. I do believe that he should atleast be considered.

He's a Hall Of Fame role player. But role players rarely make it into HoF. That doesnt mean he wont be remembered as one of the greatest Clutch players of all time.

hell no!!!!! i better not even hear bout his name being on the ballot. If Dominique can't get in on his first mention...... then we shouldn't even hear BOB's name. I dont understand why such a big importance is being given to the "rings". There are sooooo many scrubs in the league who have gotten a ring while riding the bench most of their careers going team to team and getting lucky to be on a championship team.

Has there been any role players that were inducted into the HOF?

I don't think he will make the Hall Of Fame. He will be remembered as a great clutch player who has to sport his championship rings on two hands but won't be a Hall Of Famer. Guys who lead their team's to championships are the Hall Of Famers, not the role players like Horry who make the stars look good. Horry might be as responsible as Tim Duncan for the Spurs title but Tim Duncan is the one who will be remembered, not Robert Horry.

I have a feeling the NBA will eventually give in and make a spot available for the All Time great role players. The NBA is one of the toughest to get selected to out of the major sports, but they are slowly making acceptions to their standards. Robert Horry might never get a bronze bust made, but video footage of his clutch shots will sure be playing in the HOF.

Robert Horry is without doubt the greatest post-season clutch shooter in the history of the NBA.
The man has 6 rings for crying out loud
I defenitely think that he's HOF material, even if he's only a "role-player"

That's why he's one of the greatest clutch players, he has great games when they are needed.

Putting Robert Horry in the nba hall of fame would be an insult to the other great players in there yes he has had a great post-season career but overall his career was not very good.people with a 7.5 point per game average for there career should be no where near the nba hall of fame.

I don't think Horry is a HOF player but I do think he is one of the most valueable players for any team considering the fact that he excels in clutch time & he has won a championship with 3 diffrent teams.

If John "Hondo" Havileck made it, Robert kBig shot Bob" Horry will make it.
