<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">SAN ANTONIO -- Burning questions as the NBA season comes to an end:

Q: Will the Pistons come back with the same team next season, regardless of the outcome of Game 7?

A: There won't be a lot of changes, but there will be some. There's a chance guard Lindsey Hunter, center Elden Campbell and forward Darvin Ham might not be back. In Hunter's case, it's all up to how he feels during the offseason. Hunter is under contract for next season so he might want to play one more season and then retire. After that, Hunter could wind up in the Pistons' front office.

Q: Is coach Larry Brown a goner?

A: It appears as if it's a foregone conclusion Brown won't be back in Detroit for his third season on the bench next season, regardless of his health issues.

My money is still on Brown taking that gig with Cleveland. Some give general manager Isiah Thomas and the Knicks an outside chance of getting Brown to coach in his hometown. But the time has come for Brown to move on again. He came to Motown to win a championship, and he did that last season.

Q: Aside from hiring a new coach, what's the biggest piece of business president Joe Dumars has to handle this offseason?

A: Re-signing forward Tayshaun Prince. He's a restricted free agent, and his stock has gone way up the past two seasons.

Prince will get a king's ransom to stay after completing his third season. He's a fine defensive player and showed this year he can be a scoring force, too, although he had only nine points in Game 7. Several teams would love to have a cat like Prince.

This will get done. No problem.

Q: Will forward Darko Milicic play next season?

A: Without question. Whoever takes over as coach will be told that Milicic must be worked into the rotation. The time has come for the second overall pick to start getting some minutes.

Milicic will play in the Pistons' summer league -- the first time he's had a chance to do that. Expect him to soak up some of Antonio McDyess' minutes during the regular season to show that drafting him wasn't a wasted pick. McDyess was one of the few bright offensive spots in Game 7, going 5-for-7 in 23 minutes. </div>

Princes shutdown defense is a must for the pistons. They need to keep him.
