<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The main summer-league attractions, at least for the Pistons, will be Darko Milicic and Carlos Delfino. It will be the first summer-league experience for both.

"I am looking forward to it," Delfino said. "I am anxious to test my knee." Delfino, who had two surgeries on his right knee this season, has the option of playing for the Argentina national team this summer, too. It starts practice July 15.

"I don't know (if I'm going to play in Argentina)," he said. "If I am feeling perfect, no problems, then maybe I will go. But, if I am even a little bit unsure, then I will just stay home and keeping working on the knee. I want to make sure I am completely ready to come back here (Pistons) next season."

There is no urgency for Delfino to play on the national team this summer. By winning the gold medal at the Athens Olympics, Argentina does not need to qualify for the next Games.

That's not the case for Milicic. He will leave summer league and go directly to the Serbia-Montenegro national team, which didn't qualify for the Games.

Milicic initially was hoping to skip the Pistons' summer league, but president Joe Dumars impressed upon him the importance of his attendance.

"Whatever they want me to do, I will do," Milicic said.

The Pistons also expect 2003 second-round pick Andreas Glyniadakis to be in Las Vegas. A seven-footer from Greece, he has played the last two years overseas.

Also expected to be on the roster: forwards Rickey Paulding (2004 second-round pick), Josh Powell (N.C. State), Jerry Holman (Minn.), and Thomas Mobley (Celtics); center Will McDonald (South Florida); guard/forward Bryant Matthews (Virginia Tech), and guard Junior Harrington (Hornets).

Assistant Dave Hanners is expected to coach the team, along with Phil Ford, Pat Sullivan and Brendan O'Connor. </div>
