Desmond Mason basically backed up my statement about Porter being lost on the bench last season. Mason did say the Bucks might benefit with an experienced coach on the bench next season. "I think so," he said. "When we had situations in crunch time, there were some times we just couldn't get something going in the huddles. That comes from being a young coach. "And the assistants have got to be on top of that. They've got to be the right hand for the coach. At times we did a lot of good things, but at times it could have been a lot better." Exactly what I said.... In the Middle of the Bogut article in today's Milw JS
That's fine, Porter isn't a top coach. I agree with that. But I liked the guy and the fact that he got dicked over is beyond argument. What gets me is the fact that our organization would screw one of its own like they did. We probably will get a better replacement, but to me, it's disheartening that our team could be so quick to turn its back on someone. Doesn't bode well for the future. I just don't like how the Porter thing was handled. It sucks for him, and I hate the fact that my team could be so bogus. Oh well, what's done is done. All I can say is whoever we get to replace Terry better do one hell of a good job.
I really liked him,IMO he did a great job with TJ Ford before he got injured but If Bucks felt that he needs to go then he was fired for a reason.Terry will be a coach next season, assistant or head.
I agree with what Mason said theyll obviously improve with a more experienced coach on the sidelines.
