Anyone know whats gonna happen with baker? I believe last season he was healthy, but since he had been acclimated to our system, he didnt play...but I dont see why he couldnt give us 6-8 ppg and 4-6 rpg off the bench...I know he has a player option for next season, and I think theres no doubt that hes gonna exercise it...plus he has a decent midrange jumper...I hope he uses this offseason to get in shape and be ready to play once training camp arrives...

Baker a bit too old, but if he could produce like mutumbo he wouldn't be bad after all. Though I think we need a good full time power forward. Maybe play about 25-30mpg and have howard fill in the rest.

lol, why would we want to have juwann fill in the rest, why not let them split ? even though juwann isnt as good as you migh thtink he was, dude held it down when he was with us. even though it dint show, he was doign hsi job. plus if you wanna start some new rookie or somebody else at the pf position, how well would he be able to fit into the system like juwann howard would? even with his injury, if he came back i would put juwann in the starting lineup still.

Lol, Shooter. What'll be next? "What About Norris?" [IMG]

As for Baker, I doubt he could contribute anymore. Two seasons ago, in his contract year, Baker played very well, but after the Knicks overpaid him last summer, his production dropped off and became a non-factor. He doesn't have much motivation right now, and has been traditionally labelled lazy. Not going to do anything in my books.
