Mark my words, the Jets will get swept by the Bills this year.

another thing on u almost beating the Steelers if u didnt notice, the Steelers played their backups the whole game and they still won, so i'm pretty sure if u played them in week 9 u would have lost pretty bad

1/3 of the Week 17 games are jokes because playoff teams rest there starters. If the Bills lost to the Steelers backups thats pretty bad

so then the Pats losing to the Dolphins isn't pretty bad (for the sake of possible comparisons) - sometimes teams get a little cocky (against teams that either suck, or have nothing to play for and should just lay down) and lose the humbleness that got them into a good situation - BTW - the reason we lost that steelers game is no longer on our roster.

I do think the Bills totally expected to win that game and probably didn't prepare for it as well as they should have - and it costed us a playoff appearance - hopefully my team learned from that mistake and will not take anyone lightly anymore as long as they still need to win regardless of whether or not they're resting their starters.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nflfan04)</div><div class='quotemain'>why didnt i read this post to start off! tko, i am sorry but youv are wrong on so many accounts.

roethlisberger had the season he had because he had players. yes you have players, but the steelers had more. you also dont have an Oline.

youre also always saying, "yea well we ALMOST beat you guys"

well i hate to burst your bubble, but almost doesnt cut it.

i think i also saw you say you think the division. PLEASE, not with both the jets and pats in the division.

ill be honest i hate the jets and am a decent bills fan....(not mega fan)

and i think they may beat them once, but sweeping them? you really must be delusional.</div>

Whatever dude - I see my team as being better then the Jets who lost a CB to retirement. Curtis Martin will inevitably start to see his age catching up with him - if not this season, then no later then next. Chad Pennington is overrated and has a weak arm that probably just got a little weaker after injuring his shoulder. BTW, is Ray Lucas still Pennington's backup? I certainly hope so.

For every player you can name that the steelers had the Bills have a good player at that position (Hines Ward - Eric Moulds, the Bus and Staley - McGahee, Plaxico's gone so I don't need to mention Evans who will continue to impress, and our D did rank lower then the Steelers didn't it?) minus the Oline. But even our line can be a bit of a wildcard because there were a fair number of available people for us to bring in to help our O line (we could have had Shelton, but McNally didn't like him otherwise it would have happened) - McNally must have seen something he liked with the people we brought in.

if your gonna throw out age Eric Moulds is getting older and his age has caught up with him. Hines Ward is a far better reciever than Moulds. Now your talking out of you ass.

Pennington is overrated??? You can't be serious. He is underrated. He has never thrown an INT inside the redzone. I have seen him make a 50 yard throw before. No one considers him a full fledge QB in the NFL. Since Pennington has taken over the Jets have been greatly improved in consistency and moving the ball. But of course your a Bills fan so you want think he is overrated to make yourself feel more comfortable.

You don't need to mention Evans. Randell El is just the same amount of playmaker. You are overrating Evans a lot on this forum. He will not make the Pro Bowl this year. I wouldn't mind making a bet. So in the recieving rankings Evans and Randell El rank around the same area.

Your o-line is a joke compared to Pitt. A 35 year old RB came in last season and dam near rushed for 1000 yards behind the Pitt o-line. Your line will not give Losman all the time in the world. Yes he will make some great plays but you make like he won't make any mistakes what so ever. Your are very wrong on that. Maybe your line is better but your team still doesn't match the talent of Pittsburgh's offense had all around. Losman isn't being put in the exact same scenro that Roelisberger is being put in. Plus Big Ben was ounce in a Blue moon so the chances of another QB coming and slaughtering is very very very slim.

You talk so confident when the Bills have one of the roughest schedules in football. Don't talk like your gonna run the table on the Jets. The Bills haven't improved themselves that much to break away from the Jets. The Jets have a solid front 7 which is gonna pressure Losman and make it more difficult to win games. Your team is also nothing like the 85 Bears(one of the best teams ever) or the 03 Bucs and the 01 Ravens. Don't compare a team that hasn't made the playoffs since the 2000 to teams that before they won the Super Bowl were constantly a step away from a SB birth. The Bills still have a long way to go and with a rough schedule it isn't gonna be near as easy as you think.

Bills 7-9 max. Losman will not be the next Roethsberger. If he had top ten draft talen coming out of college he would have a shot at doing well this season, but he isnt. Hes gonna take a couple years to devolp so that he can be even a top 20 QB in the NFL

no way chap pennington is over rated. the jets are 10 times better with him at the helm.

Yeah, that's why the three Toms (Donahoe, Clements and Modrak) gave up so much to get him - I SO value your opinion over theirs after all what have the done except put together a significant chunk of that team you see in Pittsburgh right now and take our team into playoff contention after being left in cap hell by John Butler?

How many times have I stated that I expect to see some mistakes out of Losman?

I think if his offensive line can prove it can protect, thats gonna really help his devolpment, but right now it doesnt look like it. Next year in the draft i think they will adress the LT position.

In case you're not familiar with what we gave up to get Losman - it was a 1st, a 2nd and a fifth rounder. Given how shrewd of a businessman Tom Donahoe is, I don't think he would have given up all of that if he didn't have a ton of faith in this kid.

Why don't we just all shut up and wait til the season gets here?

Our loss to the Phins had nothing to do with overlooking them...being cocky...or just expecting to win...We played well and blew a two score lead with 4 minutes left...some bad passes by brady and a defensive pass interference call in the endzone were killers in that game...plus it was the phins a DIVISION rival...you posted in another thread how division teams step up against each other and even Brady before the game said he hates playing Miami because their D gives hime problems plus more often than not regardless of records we lose in Miami...its just one of those things...there were no second team players, no resting for the playoffs...we were still in a tight race for homefield advantage in the AFC and had plenty to play for..we just blew it.....so your defense had nothing to do with 43 carries for 157yards...102 by Willie Parker...lol I'm sure that helped the offense get their chances...though I'll admit your boy Willis didn't show up and neither did Evans..but I'm sure you O-line gave bledsoe tons of time to throw too..but ya its ALL Drews fault.

Should exchanges like "shut up" and "no, you shut up" entice me to read the entire thread? I doubt VF cares for it, but I don't care if you guys want to fight. I just wish you guys would show some creativity and orginality instead of fighting like four year olds in the back of a station wagon on the way to grandma's house.
