Al Harrington, Boris Diaw-Riffourd (sp?) and a 2nd rounder

    for

Bob Sura and David Wesley? (from the Rockets)

I've heard that the Hawks are looking to trade Harrington. Even after drafting Marvin Williams, the Hawks guards could still do with a stronger and deeper backcourt. Is that a fair trade?

Only if you swapped picks (24 for 31).

Honestly if the Hawks are looking to make the playoffs (which they cant do it) trading Al Harrington would really hurt them regardless of they draft.

I think regardless of if they pull that trade off it will still nor improve them. If they did do that they get two good scorers from the Rockets and lose one good scorer of there own so really they just added one player to there lineup that can put points up. Bob Sura had a couple triple doubles with the Hawks the last time he was with the team so he might help them out so that they do not start Tyrone Lue any more. I do not think either way the trade helps them or hurts them considering you could not possibly hurt them any more right now.

If I were Billy Knight, I'd pull the trigger on that offer. Bob Sura is a serviceable back up and Wesley is one of my most respected players. He's one of the nice guys in the NBA and real good shooter and can handle the rock. He'd fit great at PG for the Hawks even though he is more of a SG.

Yes well there have been rumors that the Hhawks wantto lose Harrington. Even if he was their leading scorer, there is so much young talent at the sf/pf positions that the hawks want to develop. The Hawks guards need some bolstering up, and of course the center position. So at least they could serve one of their problems with this trade.
