I have been looking forward to the NBA Draft since the end of the regular season. I have been reading a lot about the players and have been going over many Mock Drafts in order to stay on top of this year's rookie class. I have followed this years draft closer then any other draft in the past and I can't wait until tommorow evening. I really hope the Magic draft Antoine Wright or Martell Webster and I guess we will just have to wait until tommorow to see who we choose after all of our predicting and guessing. Let's just hope we have a great draft and tommorow night turn off our televisons satisfied and anticipating the start of the 2006 regular season.

I really cant wait till tormmorow also, I hope we get either Webster or Wright and Im praying that Granger drops this low to 11 that would be awsome.

that'd be one heck of a lineup for Orlando, you could have dwight, granger, hill, francis and nelson. that lineup would have it all; scoring, passing, defense, rebounding. i think he'd be an even better fit than webster or wright. but it's unlikely that granger falls out of the top 10, as his stock has been soaring lately.

Yeah that would be a pretty tight lineup, Im going to pray that DG falls to the Magics lap and they pick him up.

This draft is going to be crazy. I have not seen any consistent mock drafts. Which is why we know so much about so many players. Usually you kinda know who you are getting. This year its all up for grabs. I cant wait, sucks I will be in class while the draft is on. Oh well I have my cell phone. What do you guys think about us getting a waived vet like Michael Finley. I think that would be a good pick up.

I sure hope you aren't talking about that as a starting lineup, we would be getting murdered on the defensive end. I wouldn't mind it for spurts, like 10-15 mins MAX, but not as a starting lineup.

Here would be my ideal lineup for the Magic next year.....
    PG-Francis
    SG-Webster/Wright
    SF-Hill
    PF-David Lee(2nd rounder if he's still left)
    C-Dwight Howard

I know you guys are probably gonna be jumping all over me. I know I'm biased about David Lee, but Lee is already NBA ready. I wouldn't expect Lee to jump right in and be a superstar, but he would be a role player that every team needs. He would be our Udonis Haslem, Matt Bonner. (sorry for the Gator names). Lee puts his heart on the line and will do anything to make his team win. He won't demand touches, but when he gets them he will make the most of them. He is a very good passer for a big man. He has solid D and good rebounding skills and would be a pretty good compliment to Dwight downlow. I think he would be a more offensively polished Tony Battie. This would allow more touches and less double teams for Dwight downlow, while Francis, SG and Hill will get plenty of open looks.

    2nd unit:
    PG-Jameer
    SG-Stevenson
    SF-Hedo
    PF-Battie
    C-Cato

Our 2nd unit could match up against almost any 2nd unit in the league. We wouldn't automatically lose 8-10 pts every time the starters came out.

nah, this is not going to happen, we're not going to play 2 rookies at one time in the team...like this the team is too fresh, it's not gonna play well. I still guess Magic will get a C, and play nelson at PG and Francis at SG. Webster/Wright or a C, we'll know tomorrow [IMG]

I have a feeling that the Magic will end up playing Dwight Howard at power forward next year even though they said he is ready to play center. I think we should draft a young power forward like David Lee and give him a year to develop and come off the bench before we stick him in the starting lineup.
