Read my other post on my thread,, I don't know if anyone caught this, but Channing Frye's reaction when he WASN'T drafted by the Raptors was ridiculous. Not only him but his entire family / friends who were there sighed in relief, as if Frye just barely escaped death or something. That to me, just means that he didn't and doesn't want to be in Toronto.
Channing Frye is too soft, the only reason his stock was soaring going into the draft was becuase the Knicks wanted him and the NY press was talking about him so much...Going into the draft i had CV3 rated ahead of him. I was surprised with the CV3 pick as well but whats wrong with having 2 big PF and Joey Graham as your frontcourt? look at the pistons...also, ppl say that they could have had a great draft, but the draft is like a domino effect, if a player is taken that is a surprise and someone else falls, teams start using plan b, c or d. if we had drafted Green or Granger at 7, then for sure someone picks CV before 16th, and we might have had to draft Ukic at 16th, and who knows who we would have had in the 2nd round..and still no big man. Id much rather have CV3 Graham Ukic Slokar Than Granger Ukic ???? ????
