Hey, Having thought uneviquicably for last 6 months that Andrew Bogut will be the number 1 pick in tonights draft,i recieved an email from a very reliable sports source in chicago today and he tells me that the bucks have made there choice and it will be Marvin Williams. Normally i would not post such rumours but this guy is the only person whose info i would give credence too,he has given me many insider titbits before and more often than not is correct I still think myself that i would take Bogut but it appears that the bucks think otherwise
Better for the Hawks but like Swish15 said, until a reliable source like ESPN or fox sports reports it, I'm not believing this.
I dont believe a guy supplied you with info, but I do believe Marvin will go 1st overall to the Milwaukee Bucks.
This report just in! <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">ORLANDO-Many people assumed that the Bucks would stay at the top and select Andrew Bogut, the 7'0" center from Utah. Team officials have been trying to trade the pick for quite some time now and have finally done just that. The Bucks have traded the #1 overall selection to the Orlando Magic for the #11 pick and Hedo Turkoglu. The Magic hope to use their newly acquired pick on Shooter McShootalot, the home town here from St. Pete Community College. He never worked out for the Magic but is supposed to have a great upside and a tremendous work ethic as he spends close to six hours every day in the gym shooting.</div> Source You heard it hear first...
Well you are the same guy who says Andrew Blanche is going in the top 10 so your level of "insider sources" can't be that great. I personally think you are full of yourself. All of my sources tell me its going to be Bogut. Honestly, at this point is a coin-flip in my opinion. I could see the Bucks take either player, Williams or Bogut. Both would be an instant impact to that team. I think Bogut would be the better choice because he is a well polished 7 footer who will only get better. Taking everything into account, Bogut is going to go number one. That is the only true guarentee in the draft. The real question though is what does Atlanta do. I have heard some really high up rumors that they were not pleased at the workout Marvin Williams put on for them and are looking at possibly grabbing Deron with the second pick. If they select Deron then Marvin will go to Portland with the #3 pick. If Atlanta takes Marvin and not Deron, look for Portland to trade down a few draft picks and end up taking Martell Webster. Whatever happens the big winner of the draft if the Portland TrailBlazers IF they play thier cards right.
ANDREY BLATCHE The information came from inside the chicago bulls operation (media management) and as i say is only being passed on i`m not gonna get all defensive because someone else might have another source that does`nt go along with your high almighty opinons

Do you have any idea that most NBA teams are throwing out false rumors, trades, etc. just to make it appear that they want the same player other teams want and to get them the other teams will have to sacrafice something in return. That is the most important thing each team is doing right now, they are going through and trying to determine what is BS and what is a fact. That is the hard part of of the whole draft process, its not actually picking the player best suited for your team at the moment. No offense but the last people I would be listening to right now are the people in the each teams media departments. They are throwing out absolute crap 24-7. You seem so confident in your sources on Andrey Blache. I will bet you a two week signature bet that Andrey Blache does not get drafted in the top 10.

lol a hockey man? Just because I'm a Canadian you automatically assume that I'm a hockey fan? I barely watch hockey and my favourite sport is basketball, not hockey. It's amazing how some people make comments that are rather blatant and ignorant based on someone's nationality.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Terminator-X:</div><div class="quote_post"> TO VINKNADADDY </div> im ignorant?? your the one who butted in on a discussion between me and Hunter with an insult for no apparent reason......now you have the gall to call me ignorant because i responded in kind? You defintely seem pretty confident in your projections of where he will go in the draft.... All that being said, I will still take the two week bet that he will not be taken by pick #18. I am just suprised that you wouldn't take the top 10 or lottery though considering you "guarentee" it. Whatever though, I am pretty convinced he will not be taken by pick 18.
