This is my final mock before the draft tonight. Enjoy. 1. Milwaukee - Andrew Bogut Milwaukee takes the sure thing Bogut instead of the potentiol of Marvin Williams. 2. Atlanta - Marvin Williams While Chris Paul is the logical pick here, Atlanta goes for potentiol with Marvin and deal with logjams later. 3. Utah - Deron Williams With a trade just made, they take the point guard they've wanted all along. 4. New Orleans - Chris Paul Nothing to be dissapointed about, Paul is still a great PG. 5. Charlotte - Gerald Green Toss up here between Granger and Green. They go with the kid who has enormous potentiol over the almost sure thing in Granger. They could also go with Felton here as well. 6. Portland - Martell Webster After rave reviews about him, Portland takes Webster with their new pick. 7. Toronto - Danny Granger Babcock is happy to see his #1 player slip to him and takes Granger without any hesitation. 8. New York - Channing Frye With so many undersized PF's and the recent trade of Kurt Thomas, the Knicks take some height which they so desperatly need. 9. Golden State - Fran Vazquez With Granger gone, the Warriors take the bruising Euro. Warrick and Diogu are also options here, but I think that's just too high for either of them 10. Los Angeles - Raymond Felton Inlight of the new trade, Felton slips to LA, and the Lakers gladly take him and make him the new starting PG (eventually). 11. Orlando - Antoine Wright They take Wright here now that Webster is suddenly off of the board. 12. Los Angeles - Yaroslov Korolev Who knows if the promise is true, but this looks like the most logical place to put him now. 13. Charlotte - Sean May Even though I don't want it to happen, I think the Bobcats will take May here to add some frontcourt depth. Myself, I would want McCants, but people believe he's too much of a risk with attitude problems. 14. Minnesota - Joey Graham The Timberwolves take the best athlete in the draft and someone who could help them with their perimeter D alongside Trenton Hassell. 15. New Jersey - Ike Diogu With May off the board, they take the next best thing in Diogu. 16. Toronto - Jarret Jack The Raptors take a PG here to put the pressure on Skip. 17. Indiana - Hakim Warrick The Pacers take the BAP here and strengthen their bench. 18. Boston - Roko Ukic Great size and a natural floor leader. Boston fans are going to like him. 19. Memphis - Andrew Bynum I don't even see Memphis making this pick tonight. Whoever is at 19 takes Bynum solely on potentiol. 20. Denver - Martynas Andriuskevicius They take the tooth pick here and see if he can live up to the potentiol. 21. Phoenix - Johan Petro I heard somewhere he has a promise from Phoenix. Makes sense I guess, teach the youngster at first, then when he is ready put him alongside Stoudamire for the next 5-10 years. 22. Denver - Rashad McCants Vandeweghe is thankful that he slips and takes him in a heartbeat. 23. Sacramento - Chris Taft The freefall stops for Taft and the Kings hope he can live up to potentiol. 24. Houston - Wayne Simien The Rockets fill a glaring need and take one of the most NBA ready players in the draft. 25. Seattle - Charlie Villanueva With the Sonics stacked with Free Agents this summer, they take a versatile player who can play 2 or 3 positions. Julius Hodge is also a option here. 26. Detroit - Fransisco Garcia I dunno, just had to put him in the first round somewhere. Detroit could use his perimeter scoring. 27. Portland - Julius Hodge The Blazers simply take the BAP. 28. San Antonio - Luther Head Again simply taking the BAP. Ersan Ilyasova is also a option here given the Spurs success with internatiol players. 29. Miami - Randolph Morris Don't be surprised if Miami trades out of the first round. They need to save as much money as possibly. 30. New York - Andray Blatche They take another big man, this time a HS kid with potentiol. Comments welcome as always.
Ok, I had to change about 9 picks just for that 1 trade. I'd like to hear some comments on the updated mock.
