If the Bulls do try to trade for a second-round pick, keep this name in mind ? Eddie Basden. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Charlotte is Conference USA?s reigning defensive player of the year and the league?s all-time steals leader. The Bulls also like Jackie Manuel and Jawad Williams from North Carolina, Pepperdine?s Alex Acker and Florida State?s Von Wafer ? the last two are a pair of 6-5 guards. Keep in mind, the Bulls do not have a 2006 second-round pick to offer in a trade. That choice is another casualty of the 2000 Bryce Drew trade. Perhaps the rights to power forward Mario Austin would interest some teams.</div> <div align="center">Link</div> Here is Eddie Basden's profile... <div align="center"> Jersey Number: 13 Hometown: Washington, DC High School: Elenor Rossevelt Class: Senior Height/ Weight: 6'5" 205lbs Career Accomplishments </div> Right now nbadraft.net is having him going at number 60 to the Pistons. Hopefully for him, and the Bulls the Bulls get in this draft, and possibly take him
I really hope the bulls get a draft pick and get him. It would make the draft a lot more interesting for me.

Well the Bulls did not aquire a draft pick. However, the guy they wanted did not get drafted so more than likely they will have at least one rookie on next years roster. Be it Basden or another one of the 6'5" guards they scouted.
