Korver, Dalembert, & Green Get Offers

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The Philadelphia 76ers extended qualifying offers to Samuel Dalembert, Willie Green and Kyle Korver on Tuesday, making them restricted free agents.

The offers provide the 76ers with the right to match any other NBA team's offer for the players.

The offers came hours before the NBA draft where the 76ers have the 45th overall pick in the second round. </div>

I love Billy King right now. He has become a guy who if the 76ers do well next year should be up for executive of the eyar with what he has done the past few seasons with this roster. He got Green and Korver when the 76ers did not even have a pick originally in the draft. He got Webber to play with Allen Iverson, and this year I believe we will see the true Webber since he did have a two year injury, and last season was the second season.

One thing I am iffy about though is Korver. If we bring him back will we use him as a starter again? I hope not if that is the case then it would be a bad move in my opinion. I think that the player who will get the biggest offer sheet will be Dalemert since he has the most potential. I think with this qualifing offer Green will be back, and hopefully Dalembert.

Dalambert is the one with most risk of leaving as their are a couple of teams out there with a lot of money to offer a fa centre like him (Hawks have a long standing interest).

I find it very intruiging that billy announces this shortly before the draft ...methinks i smell a rat(trade)

Good deal, with that being said hopefully we match any offers to them. Sam should be the first prority among these guys, and they were saying that the Sixers are going to loose at least one of them, I hope not.

Dalembert is the 76ers biggest concern right now in terms of resigning. They will make sure they match what ever offe rhe recieves before looking to match the offer sheets of Korver or Green. One thing I am concerned about with possibly bringing all these players back is getting into a bidding war with another team, and over paying.

If Korver got a good offer i`d let him go.....his stock will never be as high as it right now because he`ll never play starter minutes like he did last year. He`s a one dimensional jump shooter and will never be anything else.

I'm down w/ this as well. The team needs to keep these young guys together because AI isn't gonna be around forever.

This was pretty much expected, its not like King would just let one of them leave. Dalembert is priority number one of course while if one of either Korver or Green get big offers, we definitely shouldn't go into a bidding war. Still, I'd be happy if we can get at least one of them.

Don't be so sure yet, we can still loose them to free agency.
