^ I disagree. Chris Paul will probably become a better PG than Baron Davis in a few years (probably even sooner), but 'the rookie' Chris Paul couldn't have the kind of impact on the Warriors that Baron Davis had last year.

Obviously not, but he's a PG that knows how to run a team and isn't injury prone. BD has had years of experience at the PG spot in the NBA while Paul has had none. The statement was "Baron is not going to be replaced by some rookie". First, Paul isn't some rookie. Secondly, the Hornets are in a rebuilding mode, so talking in long term, he is going to replace Davis. If you're talking about short term, then that's differnet because the Hornets are heading in a different direction now with Paul, then when they had Davis.

It's not that easy to predict him becoming better than Baron though. Baron has the potential to be the best PG in the league right now. He's staying on the court, and shot selection away from being that as he's a guy that can play very well on both ends of the floor when he wants to.

What I disagreed with was when you said most GM's would rather have Chris Paul, an unexperienced rookie (mind you, a very talented one) running there team rather than Baron Davis. I'm not so sure about that.
