I hope Favre can squeeze out a couple more good seasons (Or get 14 wins this year). I was just reading that last year he passed Tarkenton on the "career wins" list. How did I miss that? Anyway the list now reads:

    John Elway - 148
    Dan Marino - 147
    Brett Favre - 135
    Fran Tarkenton - 125

That's pretty impressive company! With 266 more Yards he will also join Elway and Marino in the 50,000 yard club.

he will need probly 2 years to get that record. They lost lots of key players, but i think he can get 8 wins this year and 8 wins next year

If he plays 2 years which I think he might. He has a shot of being

    - 1st in TD passes
    - 2nd passing yards
    -1st in wins

Not bad at all. We all no about the consective starts and no one threw more 30+ TD's than him and I think there a couple more.

Yea good luk to Rodgers. I think he might do nice in Green Bay but we need to keep Sherman around. Switching Coaches after the year he is expected to come in might ruin him.

He is already #1 in making deals against the spirit of the rules to allow friends to set sack record.

I think he's #1 in career victories versus the Bears, too. What a coincidence!

It's not Favre's fault he slipped and fell and Strahan was there to touch him. Happens a lot. [IMG]

Again though BF1 is still upset about Favre torching his beloved Bears year in and year out. especially in Chicago. This is his way of making himself feel better about his shitty team. [IMG]

We all know it was a stupid move, It wasn't planned before the game though, I can tell you that for sure. It was a spur of the moment thing, time was winding down and like you said Favre and Strahan are pals, Bubba missed a block and favre had a chance to get rid of the ball, he didn't and let Strahan break the record old news. If thats the only thing you can bring up to bring Favre down its pathetic thats the only thing iv'e seen you bring up on this boards since iv'e joined, please get some better Fricken material!

it really doesnt matter. Favre is getting into the HOF no matter what. He is close to the top of all the passing records. Strahan worked extremly hard to get that record and i am glad he got it

Banned from the HOF. [IMG] Are you kidding me. I think he maybe should of gotten fined but he didn't gamble of football like Pete Rose did baseball to get banned. Favre is a sure thing and deserves the HOF. Saying he should get banned from the HOF is the worse statement I've seen you make thus far and it should be hard to top.

You guys are getting upset about nothing. BF1 is just mad because he hasn't been able to talk about the Bears with any pride for, oh, the past 20 years. He has to have SOMETHING to talk about.

It might as well be this... [IMG]

Now you are going with porkys tactic, changing the subject?

chalk up one more vote for banning him from football for life.

Aaron Rodgers? I thought this thread was about Brett Favre and the milestones he could set before he retires. As much as I hate to see Marino's records broken, I think I can stand it as long as it's Favre.
