<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">UNDATED (AP) -- Illinois gets a chance at revenge this fall when the Illini play North Carolina in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. The Tar Heels beat Illinois in St. Louis in April to win the national championship. This fall will mark the second time in three years that the two teams have met in the challenge. North Carolina won a matchup in Greensboro in December 2003. This year's challenge is the seventh in the series, and features eleven games. Only A-C-C newcomer Boston College won't participate. The challenge begins with Virginia Tech's trip to Ohio State on November 28th. The Illinois-North Carolina game is one of five scheduled for November 29th. And Northwestern plays at Virginia on November 30th.</div> http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/bask...a.ap/index.html
I'll make an early prediction and say that Illinois will take this one. They got most of their lineup back and unlike UNC, Illinois has some chemistry put together. UNC will have to get a feel for their new players and that may take five maybe six games. With three of their five players back, Illinois gets my vote. Anybody know if Dee Brown will be ready for this game? I haven't heard anything...

I to agree the fighting illini have the upper hand in this matchup, but I think it has lost a lot of its luster with Head and Deron gone. Both teams lost alot of star power which will make this matchup a bit dull for those who believe it will be a revenge game.
No doubt Illinois will win...although I'm a UNC fan...UNC lost all their players to the NBA so Illinois will take this in a blowout...
