Cool, I wanted to see him gone. I'd like to keep skita though and see what happens with him.

Finally. White sucks and has one of the worst attitudes.

I personally think that Rodney White is a very good player. I saw him play in Denver & I really liked him. He plays defense very well & is not a bad shooter. It will be intresting to see who signs him.

    I totally agree.

I'm sure he'd prefer to go back to Georgia than play in the NBDL, but I'd love to develop him. I'd even keep him on the active roster if it'd mean he'd resign with the Warriors. I think he's a lot like Kwame Brown in that he's very talented, but he's just had his confidence shattered.

Well from what I saw at Denver he was a decent shooter & could play D, IMO. He really did have an off year which is why he was cut.

Hey what's up AnimeFanatic, onetwo88, White Cocoa, DC42315

I personally think Rodney White is a good all around offensive player with a decent handle for his position, but he's not a good team player. Once he gets the ball, it's going up and that's frustrating because he is also a pretty streaky shooter. He's also not a good team defender, but has at least tried because he's trying to earn minutes or make the most of minutes. He had it rough because he had to be the backup power forward at times when his position should be at small forward. The Bobcats might want and could get him for cheap since he has a Charlotte, North Carolina connection (his alma mater is North Carolina - Charlotte).

I'm hoping there's a slim chance we can at least set him aside for ourselves, but he's got to take care of himself and we've got to take care of our budget for guys that can produce. I just hope we get more bigs that can play both ends of the floor and play real big, strong and real physical. The Warriors lack that element of their game in their middle and frontcourt. He's a good mismatch on offense, but he's a double edged sword because of how poorly he fares on the defensive end. At power forward he'll have to put up Dirk like numbers at the line and in rebounding and scoring in order to offset the fact teams will try to exploit him. Tskita would have to work on his post game just so he can get in closer because he didn't look like his handle was good enough to take somebody off the dribble nor was his shot reliable enough to just shoot over the smaller guys defending him.

As a Warrior, Rodney White wasn't very impressive at all. Sometimes I had a tough time deciding who was more impressive on the court, Skita or White. He didn't impress me very much last year at all. Then again he was coming to the Warriors well into the season and the Warriors didn't really seem to have a system so, I suppose it could have all just made it difficult for White, in adjusting and playing well here.

I hope he finds luck somewhere else though. I don't have anything against him. He just didn't impress me. Hopefully he can show his game more somewhere else.

I doubt we would be able to hide Skita on our roster. At the end of the season there was an article that he was already working out in the Denver facilites and has a lot of friends on that roster.

There was an article way back that talked about Skita's friends from Denver all dropping in to say hello at his hotel room and hanging out when the Warriors came to play Denver. He's a likeable person. Made an impact in the Denver lockerroom and he made an impact with our "foreign legion". We'll miss him for that, but we won't miss that horrendous 30% shooting games in garbage time and the lack of D.

He was at the draft party too. Sucks to be cut after going to that.

This year we will be incredible. White was going to cut into people's time in paticular I think Mully was interested in

PG: Baron Davis/ Derek Fisher/ Monta Ellis
    SG: Jason Richardson/ Mickael Pietrus
SF: Mike Dunleavy/ Zarko Cabarkapa/ Jawad Williams
PF: Troy Murphy/ Ike Diogu/ Zarko Cabarkapa/ Jawad Williams
    C: Andris Biedrins/ Adonal Foyle/ Chris Taft

    IR: Calbert Cheaney and Invitee

I like it, we can run pretty well and no more worrying about White being a ball-hog

I'd put Pietrus in SG and SF, not just SG.

White and Skita got a brief look, just in case there was some upside. The impression was that niether was apt to step up. So then the deal is we can audition an undrafted FA,the Euro G we have rights to,CBA-NBDL guys, budget journeymen etc. As veterans White and Skita would have to be paid more than a rookie walk-on. $100,000 is actually a lot of money, would keep my fridge stocked with beers for a few years. The roster slot also matters. Guys fall through the cracks-such as Cardinal and Boykins did.

Well it was a good salary cap dump by Mullin. Now if he can do the same for Fisher/Foyle/Murphy somewhere down the line, without giving up a whole lot.
