Who do you think was the best undrafted player from Tuesday night? I'm a biased fan, but I think that Alan Anderson, who was the leading scorer at chicago, takes the honor. You're not looking for a star in the late second round, you're looking for a role player. I just always saw Anderson as the ultimate NBA role player. He can play anything from Point Guard to Power Forward, and while his jumper is often criticized, he shot nearly 90% from the line last season. You don't shoot 90% from the line and not know how to shoot. Other players I think were really looked over were Rawle Marshall, Sean Banks, Dwayne Jones, Angelo Gigli, Anthony Roberson, Kennedy Winston, John Gilchrist, Eddie Basden, Stefano Mancinelli, Randolph Morris, Matt Walsh, and Jawad Williams. I think you'll see all of them in the NBA.
Randolph Morris and Tre Simmons! These 2 players are great Randolph was a 1st round pick last year and Tre Simmons is Instant O!1st round worth in my opinion!I like Will Conroy too.Bah im in Seattle right now and ive played Will Conroy before so maybe thats why i think hes a gr8 player.
I agree. I feel as if A squared is the best player that went undrafted. Although he showed his skills in Chicago, I think he's just one of those underrated and under appreciated type players. He's a lock down defender and a hard worker. I know he will make the NBA through his summer league performances. John Gilchrest is yet another player that went undrafted. I was surprised, but due to the depth of this draft, it just didn't work out for him.
I think Rawle Marshall is good to, overlooked cuz he was on a team that is a mid-major. I really like Juwad Williams too. He didn't start over Marvin Williams, the #2 pick, for nothing.

Averaging 8 pts and 4 boards ain't cuttin' it as a starting center. And I think that's one of the biggest reasons he wasn't drafted. A team will sign will eventually sign him based on the "P" word. My pick is probably either Juwad Williams, Kennedy Winston, or Alan Anderson. If Williams would have played at another school other than UNC, then I feel he would have been an early 2nd rounder. But with Marvin Williams and Sean May on the same team, you are going to have some trouble getting some recognition.
Im going to have to go with either Jawad williams or kennedy winston. Its a shame not to see them drafted.

You know who I'm really dissapointed not to get drafted is Sun-Sun Ming, I loved that guy, he was a poor man's Yao Ming.

SEC a tough conference? SEC was one of the worst conferences this season by only sending 1 team to the sweet 16. The 8 points a game is fine with me, but the 4 boards is what gets me. When an undersized power forward(6'6 Chuck Hayes) is averaging more boards than you(8 a game), then you have some major work to do.

Secondly, he had his chances to prove that he was talented at Portsmouth, Chicago, and other workouts. He finished all of them with very negative feedback. If I were to compile a list of the 20 biggest snubs, he'd probably be on it, but towards the bottom end.

I was just wondering, if Morris did comeback would you and the rest of the fan base accept him, UK? Also, is Chuck Hayes getting any invitation's to Summer League's?

He came from a winning team in college, and played a significant role in its success yet was not drafted. Other players who were not drafted that deserved to be were Dwayne Jones, Matt Walsh, and Alan Anderson.
My list: Kennedy Winston John Gilchrist Alan Anderson Dwayne Jones Eddie Basden and I've got to give honorable mention to my boy Mike Wilkinson, because no matter what I can't convince myself that some team couldn't use a tough, smart, hard working 10th man.

The draft is full of hypocracy, and I think Wilkinson is a prime example. Maxeill at 6-5 is a first rounder, yet Wilkinson at 6-9 is passed up because he's "undersized"? Anyway, I bet you'll be happy to hear this bit of news that I just recieved. Mike Wilkinson will be playing basketball with the Utah Jazz in the Summer League. I think he'll end up in the NBDL next year, but the NBDL is a more attractive league now that it's a true minor league system for the NBA.

That's so awesome to hear 1) that someone agrees with me that if Maxiel is worth a 1st round guaranteed contract, Wilk AT LEAST deserves to be a late 2nd pick and 2) that Wilk is gonna keep playing. Jazz fans (J_Ray), you're just gonna love this guy. I don't know how much you need another 4, but someone definitely should take a flier on him. I know I'm probably being a homer to some extent here, but the guy deserves a shot. He'll bust his butt for whoever is smart enough to give him a chance, and I really, really hope someone does. It would be just as awesome to see him with a real NBA jersey on as it will be to see Andrew Bogut in a Bucks uniform thanks so much for the update man!
This draft was so deep, a lot of undrafted players could be solid role players. As for the best undrafted player, if he can keep his head straight, Sean Banks would probably take that. Kennedy Winston was one of my favourite players in the college game, so I'll be watching him. I hope the Bobcats invite him to the SPL, because they need a SG BAD.

as far as pure talent, i think John Gilcrest is the best undrafted player, but he's got big problems attitude-wise.
