<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Detroit Pistons coach Larry Brown has left the Mayo Clinic but has asked the Pistons to wait until Monday to discuss Brown's future with the team, sources close to the situation told ESPN.com's Marc Stein. Brown has been plagued by bladder problems stemming from hip surgery, but sources said Brown's doctors could not give him a definitive recovery timetable by Friday as the coach and the Pistons had hoped. "To be honest with you, it's not going to be anxious," Dumars told the Free Press. "It's going to be as simple as I said it is. That door is wide open. If he's ready to come back, let's go. Let's not mess around, let's go. I'll just wait and see what he says. "Larry knows how I feel," Dumars said. "I've made it very clear to him that we have a pretty good system here that you can get to the Finals two years in a row, win it one year and getting to a Game 7 the next with him as the head coach and the players we have here. It would be foolish to want to break that up. I'd love to see him come back, and love to see him make that phone call to me in a couple of days and say he's coming back."</div> Link
I was just about to post this.. i hope he comes back thought he is my favorite coach and the pistons need him
Im half and half about this. im a die hard pistons fan and id like to see him come back but i also want to see darko get more PT so he can gain some experience in the nba
there's no timetable from the doctors so there's no news on If LB will be offically the coach next year although If he is healthly he will coach in Detroit.
I'm questionable about his return, I mean he's a great coach and all, but doesn't every one want to see Darko and some of the quality young guys that the Piston's have actually play??? I think by now Darko should be at least in the regular rotation and he'd be a good impact player... but he doesn't get a chance to show anything...
