Although the probability of the pacers making a blockbuster deal is unlikely what trade would you like to see the Pacers make.

Jermaine, tinsley, pollard to minesota for KG and hudson. sounds far fetched but we need a leader and KG would no doubt take us to a chapionship. the wolves would get a couple of good players out of it they would be set at three positions.they need both C and PG really bad and it would be cheap.due to our depth this would not completely change the make up of our line up.
C -Foster
PF-Garnett
SF-Artest
SG-Jackson
PG-Hudson
what do you think?

pacers would not trade artest for them. they'll lose sooo much defense on that trade and artest only played 7 games last year but still put up better offensive numbers then peja and jackson

On a brighter side we could try to get Finley from the Mavs for Croshere and Pollard.

We would get a perimeter threat for two of the highest paid non-factors on our team... in the league..... in the history of the world.

hey ive heard reports saying that the hornets are still shoping magloire around this could be the break that indiana was looking for, an allstar center in a trade to a team that could use help any and everywhere. think about this one:Pollard,AJ,and a future pick cause we dont really need one, for magloire, and a second rounder.

I don't think the Pacers need much except for an upgrade at PG. Kevin Garnett would be great for the team, but JO had an MVP type season a year ago and is younger. The Pacers don't need a blockbuster shakeup at this point, but an upgrade over Tinsley would be great.

I'd like to see a guy like Andre Miller run the team or Devin Harris.

as for point guard the signing of sauras means that that is not a problem anymore. they do need a centre though someone in the mold of a jamaal magloire.

Have you ever watched Sarus play? He's a nice backup, but he's going to get torched defensively in the NBA. He has no lateral quickness and is a large man. Last year speed guards gave the Pacers a lot of problems because Tinsley and Johnson were not quick enough to keep up. They also struggled with athletic guards, because neither Tinsley or Johnson are very athletic.

Do Indiana really need a blockbuster trade. Look how far they got with arguably their best player. With Ron back who knows. I belive Indiana could have made it too the finals if Ron was there.

Lets be fair now, I know Reggie is a legend and he does do things that don't go in the statbook but it can't be too hard to find a player that averages 14ppg, 2rpg and 2apg like he did last season.

ive seen clips on sauras and admit hes not as quick as i hoped but he makes up for it with his experience he was a good defender at times against the opposing guards in israel,he was always a step ahead as for the fast guards in the nba. apart from parker, san antonio and wade ,miami. no championship contender has an extremely quick pg.: Billups,Kidd, so maybe he losees a few contests against them it dosent mean that they cant win with these three. theyve done it the past three years.

this makes up for any defensive probs.

A quality center is what you need.i dont know about any blockbuster trades, but what about free agents?one of Eddy Curry or Tyson Chandler would be a great fit.As for a shooting guard, the pacers would look to fill Reggie's role as a sharp shooter. someone like Micheal Finley, seeing as Mavs want to trade him.

Eyes only-

Your comments about KG and JO seem a bit unwarranted. No doubt KG is one of the top 5 players in the game, and no disrepect....but you mentioned that JO couldn't carry his team the the conference semis??? KG has been out of the first round exactly ONCE! And that was the first season Spree and Sam were there....everyother time he's been unable to get his team out of the first round. Jermaine O'Neal has gotten out of the first round every season of his career I beleive, and i'm not even counting Portland where he went to the WCF. Sayin JO can't carry a team in the playoffs and KG can is ridiculous because PLAYOFF wins say otherwise....And I don't even like JO
