The Winner: JAKE DELHOMME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He disqualified the 1st round but came back and won Runner Ups 1. Ben Roethlishberger 2. Byron Leftwich 3. Carson Palmer 4. Drew Brees 5. Matt Hasselbeck 6. Joey Harrington MVP WR: Kennan McCardell
Yea I think last years winner was Matt Hasselback so it really doesn't mean much but it is fun to watch.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (vikingfan)</div><div class='quotemain'>Wow...and I thought for sure Harrington was going to make a run at it. </div> Patricipating in the QB challenge could end up the Highlight of his career.
I was pretty sure Delhomme was going to lose after the 1st event. He was suppose to go around this huge cardboard figure 69 and he went through it and got disqualified for that event. But he won the accuracy and came in 3rd in the long throw, he got 71 yards, and then won the 2 minute drill, he was the last person to go and if he didnt come in 1st he wouldnt of won the QB challenge
If Holt doesn't drop that ball you can add 35 points to Harrington's score putting him in 4th. Right in the middle which is where we need him to be.

Nothing against the statement your team(even though I despise the lions) but excuses excuses excuses. Whether it's injuries, drop balls or stupidy on Harrington's part lions fans seem to be willing to give everyone a 2nd 3rd 4th chance. Now granted this competition means nothing but I hate it when one guy gets off with all of the poor excuses. If I were a Rookie I hope the Lions draft me. I won't be ran out of town like Oakland and Philly.
You cant give excuses, because that doesnt get it done. Delhomme got disqualified one event, and didnt decide to give up. He could of gave exuses that the 1st event messed him up, but he decided to win the competion

If Horn(I said Holt but it was Horn) makes the catch that I could have made he adds 35 points to his score. Just like when Holt made the catch during the same event but jumped out of bounds for Hasselback. Was that Hasselbacks fault? No. Anyway it was a BLATENT drop. What do you expect me to say? Do you expect me to say that it was Joey's fault? It wasn't. The throw was good. Am I making excuses for him fumbling the ball? No. And right after cause he was flustered he hit a stationary wooden defender. I am not making excuses. Simply stating the facts. So get off my back. As far as Delhomme goes he was far and away better than any QB there on that day. The rest of them all looked the same in my book with the exception of Brees during the mobility drill. He was dominant.
Things happen and your facts sound like excuses. Harrrington wasn't the only player to have something bad happen to him. The competition is overrated anyway. Harrington finished last. Thats all. It's no big deal. The big deal is if he chokes during the year.
Its just fun to see the QBs compete. It would be fun if during the combine they had a QB challenge like the NFL one
I know it is no big deal. I don't really care about this competition. I was simply sticking up for my QB. If people were talking about Hassleback I would have said something then too. Those were two things that stuck out in my mind through the entire competition. And If they didn't happen neither one would have been at the bottom of the list. Neither one could control what happened to them. Palmer tripped and Delhomme missed an obstical but those were both things in their control.

Then you could see who could throw the ball 70 yards, and see how mobile your QB is. Like Ben Roethsberger was flying through the mobility drills for a big guy, we could see if the college QB had good accuracy too
