The article itself was pretty much the same information, but there was a few things that caught my eye.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bonner's agent, Kenny Grant, said he has not talked to any other teams. While the forward was on the Raptors' original summer league roster, Bonner said it is "unlikely" he will join the team in Los Angeles or Minnesota. </div>

Too bad that he can't make the summer league team, but the fact that he hasn't talked to any other teams means we won't have to overpay him.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Meanwhile, it is doubtful rookie point guard Roko Ukic of Croatia, a second round pick, will play in the summer leagues.

Ukic, who remains on the roster, has to negotiate a buyout with his Croatian team before he can sign with the Raptors. </div>

Too bad. It would've been good to have him play next to the Charlie and Graham. Hope the buyout doesn't turn into a big issue.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Babcock also said yesterday he has talked with the agent of free agent guard Antonio Daniels. </div>

    That caught me by surprise.

There's some other good articles that are linked at the bottom of this one, particularily the one about Bosh meeting with the rookies and the one about Joey Graham.

I read all the articles and I'm excited...

I wish Bonner and Ukic could've played in the summer league though. More so Ukic to get some more experience.

I like how he's gained 30 pounds of muscle mass so is now 6'6 218!!! Very very good size for a Point Guard.

I also hope the buyout won't be an issue.

man I hope we keep Bonner, I'll be disappointed if we lose a guy that wants to stay in Toronto and puts forth such effort.

I just hope Babcock doesn't do what Grunwald did w/ JYD..... which is overpaying a guy mainly b/c he's a fan favourite. I would love to see him back in a Raps uniform though....

Antonio Daniels? Would this mean Babcock is interested in acquiring yet another 30 year old PG who would want a long, and presumably big, contract? Alston and Daniels splitting minutes at PG would beat Rafer and Milt, but the whole situation would be looking bad. The team would have two contracts that they can't offload with two 34 year old point guards who aren't marquee guys.

This is good news for the raptors because he is a good player off the bench and he puts so much effort everytime hes on the court.

We don't need Daniels unless we were to plan on playing him at the 2. Anyway, he is 30 and we should try to find a younger player who actually is a SG.

If we could swing a sign and trade where we get Daniels and the Sonics get Rafer it would be a great move. However, I think that's really unlikely. It looks like the best time to sign Daniels would have been last year when we were looking for a starting PG.
