I would personally love to see Marshall return. I thought we got a bad deal with the deal we did with Toronto we traded two good players for really only Antonio Davis we also traded Baxter who was becoming a decent role player for us. Marshall along with Davis, and some other of our players could be possibly the most respected group of veterans in the league they never are getting involved with the wrong type of things. Davis also plays a huge part in the players union so two veterans with there abilities would give us a deeper bench, etc. We could also bring Marshall back in the role he left the team as a bench spark who could com in and provide us with a lot of scoring and he is also a under rated defender. With him, Gordon, and Andre Nocioni coming off our bench we have a solid nine man rotation also if we resign Pargo we got a more than capable starting lineup and second unit that will be penciled in. There are a lot of teams in the Marshall sweepstakes though with Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Orlando, New Jersey, etc. So it might be a long shot, but of all those teams the Bulls had the better season last year so that might motivate him to return. He was here through the hard times hopefully we can get him back for the good times.
I hope we can get marshall as long as he isnt to expensive. If we keep curry, him and curry could be a good starting frontline if chandler dosent start. marshall would really stretch the defense with his 3 point shooting making it very hard for teams to double team curry.
Marshall would be a really solid addition for the Bulls. He's a vet who knows how to play the game, and he would fill a position that the team could definitely improve at. He's probably a better option than re-signing Harrington, though Harrington had a great year last season and the Bulls will probably stay loyal to him. If they did get Marshall, however, it'd be a great move. A rotation of him, Curry and Chandler at the big spots would be a real solid group.
IMO if we get Marshall either Curry or Chandler arent gonna be here. If we sign Marshall I would like to keep Chandler and deal Curry. If we could get all 3 it would be great, but I doubt it happens.
