10. Antoine Winfield - Small, but extremely aggressive. Very impressive tackler for his size and definitely can keep up with the best of them. Only problem is he can't pick the ball off. Only 4 picks in his last 4 seasons. 9. Samari Rolle - The Ravens picked up a very solid cover corner with Rolle. Not to say Baxter wasn't solid, but Rolle brings alot to the Ravens D. He hasn't had a pro bowl season since 2000, but that could change playing for the Ravens. 8. Ronde Barber - Barber is the best tackling corner in the league by far, and when he's surrounded by a defense like the 2002 Bucs, he's more than just a tackler. His numbers have declined since 2001, but he's still a pro bowler. 7. Patrick Surtain - A big steal for the Chiefs by only giving up a second rounder for Surtain. Surtain is a excellent cover corner with descent speed and very good body movement. The Chiefs should be out of their 32nd pass defense rutt thanks to Surtain. 6. Dunte Robinson - I understand he's a rookie, but this kid has a future ahead of him if he stays healthy. Excellent ball hawk skills, very impressive tackler for his size and very good cover corner. By this time next year i wouldn't be surprised if he was higher. 5. Charles Woodson - Woodson is one of the best corners it today's game. His attitude and locker room presence drops him to #5 in my book. As much as you hate to admit it, he's damn good, but he may very well be a lot lower on this list next year. 4. Nate Clements - It always seems that Clements doesn't have a hard time getting his hands on the ball. One of the most consistent corners today, Clements is a big reason why the Bills were ranked at #2 for defense last year. Expect another pro bowl year. 3. Ken Lucas - Very physical corner that dominates at his position with his aggressiveness. He may not be the quickest corner, but he makes up for it with his aggressive style. Has trouble with the smaller quick receivers, but that won't be an issue now that he's with a very respectable defense. 2. Champ Bailey - Bailey is one of the quickest corners in the game, his coverage skills are considered a pain in the ass for QB's and his playmaking ability is undeniable. He may have had a little trouble with his first year as a Bronc, but that's just a one time thing. 1. Chris McAlister - Do i really need to explain to y'all why he's the best. He's big, physical, quick, can play in man or zone and oh yeah, he's surrounded by 3 other playmakers. As long as he's a Raven he'll continue to be the best. Honorable Mention: Sheldon Brown , Troy James , Mike McKenzie
No Ty Law, Surtain is higher in my opinion and I always though of McAlister overrated. He still top 10 but not #1.
Good pick on Lucas, but Dunta Robinson? you should take him out and barber at #6, Winfield at #7, #8 Surtain, #9 Rolle, #10 Torry James

And though Ty Law isn't healthy..I'd argue he is one of the most physical and best tackling corner in the game...loves to support against the run...never mind his obvious ability in coverage...
