The fact that Roberts grabbed 17 rebounds on Ronny Turiaf and Andrew Bynum shocks the hell out of me. Maybe I'm putting too much stock into these summer league games, but I'm starting to think that maybe he can work his way into the rotation this year afterall. I was disappointed that Andre Emmett wasn't even able to make the article, nor Kennedy Winston, but it's nice to see my boy Rawle Marshall being productive. Warrick's numbers are nice, but it looks like he probably struggled with his outisde shooting, an area I wanted to see him improve in.

its good to see that lawrence roberts is doing good. i think this guy is veryyy underrated. he was solid all throughout college and he averaged 16.9 ppg and 10.1 rebounds a game his senior year which is real good. his stats are better than chris taft,charlie villuinavia(sp?),channing frye,fran vasquez,ronny turiaf,jason maxiell,and david lee but all those guys got drafted ahead of him. i dont understand why a player who has proven himself over 4 years in college and averaged better stats than all those players get passed up and almost doesnt get drafted. i believe lawrence will turn out better than half of those players.

I realize that Summer League games are only a slim indication of how a player will do in the regular season, but I feel that some questions can actually be answered in the Summer League, such as how an undersized player will do against 7-0 competition or how a college Shooting Guard will translate as a Point Guard. I feel like after dominating 7-0 Andrew Bynum on the glass, Roberts has definitely proved that his height is not an issue.

I'm pretty sure I read that he was actually 6-7, but I can't find the link right now. He wasn't measured in Chicago, so we don't know his actual height, but those who were measured in Chicago generally measured in one to four inches shorter than their listed height. So with that said, it would not surprise me in the least if Roberts was closer to 6-7. None the less, 6-9 is undersized anyway.
