<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Regina Blancas remembers Compaq Center as the place she bopped to the Go-Go's and cheered the Rockets.

On Saturday, that landmark of her teen years becomes her church.

"It's not the Compaq Center anymore," Blancas said of Lakewood Church's new location. "It feels like home, only bigger."

Blancas and other Lakewood members have become well-acquainted with bigger. In the past six years, weekend attendance at the northeast Houston church has exploded from 6,000 to 30,000.</div>

    This sucks...

I loved that place. Great memories.

    -1994 NBA Finals
    -1995 NBA Finals
    -1997 WNBA Finals
    -1998 WNBA Finals
    -1999 WNBA Finals
    -2000 WNBA Finals
-And all the shows I use to go to.

Things are gonna be weird when I drive by the Compaq Center and I see Church Services scheduled instead of games.
