    Perhaps.
With the start of the Rocky Mountain Revue just four days away - and less than two weeks before free agents can officially sign contracts - Jazz vice president of basketball operations Kevin O'Connor took a deep breath Sunday night.
"It was kind of a quiet weekend," O'Connor said. "We talked about a couple of different things with a few people. But nothing's imminent."
Expect that to change with the start of business this morning, when O'Connor resumes his search of the free-agent market for help in the backcourt and at center.
Before getting Illinois point guard Deron Williams in the draft, the Jazz had targeted Earl Watson of Memphis and Antonio Daniels of Seattle during the free-agent recruiting season.
As a pure point guard, Watson is reportedly no longer interested in Utah.
Daniels could see things a little differently, since he can swing between point guard and shooting guard. </div>

It seems that Watson wants a place where he can earn a starting job and starting minutes. Having been in Memphis for so long, he has been hidden behind J-Will and really is as good or not better then him, at least in terms of his passing skills and reading the defense. He's still young, too, so I guess he figured even if he could beat out Deron this year, it wouldn't be the same in the future.

On the other hand, Daniels is getting up there in age, but he hasn't started slowing down yet. I think he'd be a better fit for Utah, anyway, if he was interested.

O'Conner better get his butt in gear. As fast as the quality FA's are getting snapped up, it won't be long and there won't be anything left but garbage. And we've got enough of that on the bench now!!

If Kevin O'Connor wants to bring in a Point Guard that will get some decent minutes with the Jazz, he needs to do something about it quickly. They wont stay around long, and the sooner he acts the better it should be for Utah.
