Dalembert could visit with Hawks brass in the next two weeks, and Hawks general manager Billy Knight told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Monday that he's been in daily contact with representatives for the free agent.</div>

I'll be impressed if Atlanta can sign one of the 3 top free agents they're are in talks with, Joe Johnson, Eddy Curry, and Sammy Dalembert.

If the Hawks don't pay him the maximum amount, the Sixers will most likely match the offer. They've got a much better shot at getting Curry.

I'm confident that the 76ers will resign Samuel Dalembert because they will likely match any offer he recieves, lets just hope that other teams dont offer a lot more then what the Sixers have in mind.

And wants to stay with Chicago also. If he gets insurance for his irregular heartbeat and Atlanta dosen't offer him the max, then he will be staying with the Bulls. Paxson will match.

Sixers will probably do what ever it takes to re-sign Dalembert but if the Hawks offer him the max the Sixers have to think, do they want to have Dalembert, Iverson, and Webber as the future of the Sixers. It's unlikely the Sixers will let him go, but nice try though [IMG]

no,no,no. chi-town wants insurance and incentives, so if the heartbeat is a problem, they can opt out. atlanta will offer them a contract without it.

    besides, we've got usher. [IMG]

So basically if we dont get the insurance and Curry dosen't want incentives Curry may become a Hawk. That would suck for the Bulls lol.

yup that's what im sayin. but it wouldn't suck for y'all though. you'd still have chandler, and he'd get WAY more minutes and start to show that he can be a star. plus you got gordon whos awesome.

Basically any teams fans can out number hawks fans lol. There are not that many of you guys. Anyway Curry has said that he has his heart in Chicago, and that his visits to the Hawk are simply how the business works many times. Although, you guys can offer him a contract without incentives we can still match at any time, and we can also offer him more money, and a better opportunity to win. As far as the Hawks getting Dalembert goes I do not see that happening either the problem with the Hawks is that they are targeting all these restricted free agent when there are guys like Swift, and other that they might be able to lock up easier. If they get Joe Johnson it will be a good off-season for them, but I do not see them getting Curry or Dalembert.

I didn't forgot him, I left him out on purpose. If the Hawks offer Dalembert to the max and the Sixers match, the Sixers will have three players making max or near max dollar, one would think that the Sixers would try to build around these three players. I would love to see the Sixers build around Iguodala but with three players that may make near max and max dollar I don't hink it's going to happen. Sorry for being off topic, if it were down to either the Hawks getting Curry or Dalembert I would go with Curry. He has just as much potential as Dalembert and can already put up all-star numbers at this stage in his career. He isn't as athletic as Dalembert but he makes up for it with his size and for the same price why not.

I?m assuming the three players you are talking about after Dalembert would be Allen Iverson and Chris Webber. However, I do not think Allen is making the max I thought he got a 67 million dollar extension a couple seasons ago. That is not near the max for a player of his caliber, and Chris Webber I believe only has two seasons left on his deal this one and the one after will be the last two seasons of his deal I think. So he will be off our books when Igoudala hits free agency we will either resign him for a considerable less amount of money or let him walk/ sign and trade. I do not see the 76ers ever parting with Igoudala any time soon. He has received praise form Shaq, Allen, Webber, and anyone who has ever been involved in coaching him or being around him. The 76ers will not let Igoudala leave the team to keep Chris Webber if it comes down to that I think that they will trade one of the players making a big deal if Igoudala comes into his own with his offensive game.
