lol you must not post reguarly in here during the season, because then you would see that the majority of the people posting in the LAKER forum are not laker fans. I just find it odd and trust me, i dont need to bait anyone....there are plenty here to begin with.
Non-Laker fans are welcomed to post here and disagree with Laker fans. Sports should be an outlet from the rest of the stress in your life. I like the challenge of standing up for the Lakers and getting my point across with facts. Bynum took a cheapshot at Shaq during the draft, Shaq got a barb back at him. Shaq loves to clown and be a smartass and the media eats it up. I just find it hilarious Shaq continues to brag about a degree that the state of California doesn't recognize as a credible one.
I just got my college degree a month ago and I'm proud of that, but I would never throw that back into someone else's face... Saying he won't bother talking to people without degrees doesn't make him smarter...if u ask me, it makes him a stuck up snob ...
i agree. Shaq needs to be the bigger man- but we all know he's never done that and never will. He may be funny, he may be good, but he's immature as hell. Like someone else said, shaq is 32, soon to be 33, Bynum is 17. We expect this from a recent top 10 lottery pick, but from a 13 year veteran? Kinda sad...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Voodoo Child:</div><div class="quote_post">You know they hand out grades in city schools. I went through both school systems; public and a private (on scholarship). In city schools, you don't even have to show up to be at the top of your class. </div> Are u saying they make u work harder in private schools? I don't really see the relevance in this argument anyways (true or not), but if it's true, I guess it works in Bynum?s favor. If he had to work harder than public school kids to get his 3.5, then that just shows how dedicated he really is...I don't see how you're using it as an argument against him .. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Voodoo Child:</div><div class="quote_post">Shaq went through four years of college and should get respect for working on a PhD. There's no way that a kid like Bynum is more intelligent than Shaq. You could tell me Bynum has a 4.5 GPA and I wouldn't care, because those numbers don't mean anything. </div> If you're gonna question the legitimacy of Bynums academics, why cant u do that for Shaq? Shaq's first few years at LSU, he was their star athlete...they could've passed him simply on that....and when he came back to finish his degree, do u think the university would really fail one of their most wealthiest alum? They'd be stupid to....Getting an online MBA, do u think somebody else could have been sitting in front of the computer? Yes, all speculation, but that's what you're doing to Bynum...for all we know, Bynum could be a bright young man who was a true honor student...his academics indicate it.....but you're basing his intelligence on a blog? <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Voodoo Child:</div><div class="quote_post">As for a 1060, I scored higher in the 7th grade. That's not too great of a score.</div> Since when do they let 7th graders take the SATs?
Bynum is an arrogant 17-year old, Shaq was the #1 pick, he was the #10 pick. Can't wait till Shaq dunks on him and makes his free throw for the 3 point play. Then Shaq will laugh in his face.

I think alot of people are missing the point here... aside from the education aspect, shaq had 3 years of college ball at lsu that helped him develop into a great player Bynum totally missed out on that, maybe if bynum spent 3 year in college then people could start to compare him to shaq.
