They same to be in good shape with their management. I don't think the Dolphins will be good at all this year but they are taking the right step in the right direction.

I am not expecting much this yr. I don't think that 7-9 is unreasonable.

The only game they were truly never in was the Monday night game to the Jets in Jersey last Oct.

when they get a good QB they can make it the the playoffs. I dont know why the traded Surtain. They lost a couple key defensive players. and they are in a extremly hard division and conference. In 2003 they had 10 wins and still didnt get in. I dont see them going to the playoffs till year 3. If they were in the NFC West they would go to the playoffs this year

Alabi (6th rounder) has signed and Crowder (3rd) is close.

Ronnie Brown is waiting for Alex Smith to sign and it shouldn't be long after that hopefully within the week.

That only leaves Matt Roth. I want hom in camp ASAP so he can help the OL develop & then cause havoc to opposing teams

They lost Sammy Knight and Patrick Surtain, Arturo Freeman and that is a blow to the defense. I think they are gonna struggle again this year but land back on their feat soon.

If they would have kept those 3 guys they would have been stop some people of defense. Right now they dont have a good secondary. They use to have a feared defense but Surtain was there shut down corner and now he is gone

I think Surtain is a top 3 corner in football.

Surtain is washed up - there's at least 5 CB's off the top of my head that I could name that any GM in the league would take over Surtain.

Clements (he came to mind first obviously because I'm a bills fan, but he is better then Surtain - who almost always got smoked by Moulds anyways)
    Bailey
    Woodson (if healthy)
    Law
    Starks
Hell, if it wasn't for stonehands, Winfield would be on this list too - Winfield is easily the best pure tackling CB in the league - I would have missed him if it wasn't for McGee developing into a well rounded solid corner and having Nate Clements on the other side.

just because someone wouldn't take a certain player over another player doesn't mean $#!t - The Titans could have had their choice over Edgerrin James, Shaun Alexander and Travis Henry - they went with Travis Henry - I guess that make Henry the better back huh?

they took Henry because of his relatively low cap number and the fact that he is still a good back - more bang for the buck value with Henry.

Do you watch any other games besides the Bills. Just curious because Surtain is as good as every corner you put on that list. Ty Law is the only one you mentioned that I would take over Patrick Surtain. Do you like Football or is it just you hatred for Surtain when he was in Miami is what is making you to use no logic what so ever. yea maybe thats it.

When was Law signed officially? I heard they may have agreed on a Contract but nothing other than that, By the way the signed SUrtain first even if they did sign Law so basically they Chose him, Smart guy.

Unless I've missed something, Law is still unsigned.

Isn't Duane Starks now a Patriot?

Surtain & Madison are both elite CB's.

Clements is good. But, Elite? Did you go over Niagara falls sans barrel? [IMG]

Bailey & Woodson are arguably the most overhyped CB's ever & I am including D Sanders.

I agree Surtain is elite but Madison has lost a step the past couple of seasons. I agree on Clements and yes Starks is a Pat.

Bailey I don't think is overrated. He doesn't get burnt as much as people like to think he does. Woodsen has lost a lot of his game since their SB year and Deion Sanders in no where near overrated. He is one of the best corners of the 90's if not the best. I can see Darrell Green being an argument.
