Is it really possible that J-Rich is 6'3? I have a hard time believeing 6'4 because he seems to be about two inches taller than Baron but maybe only an inch shorter than Pietrus. Either way his length makes up for it but i dont see how some one can be measured 3 inches off from actual height. I agree with your coordination theory though, i dont think its the size of hands that matter. If my friends and i could catch a 40 yard football pass in 6th grade i think that its all about practice and just making the motion become second nature.
I dunno about training camp measurements, but Rudeezy and Warriorsfansnc93 have picture evidence of J-Rich being closer to 6'3 to 6'4 than he is being at 6'6 (Rudeezy and Warriorsfansnc93 are both taller than him). Jrich has the wingspan though, of 6'11 1/2 inch player. That's great for a 6'3-6'4 player.

The more I think about Curry-the more I like Adonal. How many picks does Curry set in a typical game? Sure Adonal can hardly catch a nerf ball-but he NEVER quits or slacks,I like that. Mully likes that. Curry's D is erratic,we'd be as well off playing Murph at C.
This trade is sort of lob sided in my opinion to favor the Warriors. True we are getting more than enough quality players back with Pietrus who has great potential, and Murphy who averages a double double, but at the same time we are leaving a huge whole in our front line, and have two very capable power forwards, but no center. Chandler has more than enough height to play center, and will not be a liability on defense, but on offense he can not anchor the offense, and draw double teams like Curry does. As anyone who saw the Washington and Chicago series this year in the playoff could tell. Then we are also giving up a first round selection, which Paxson has shown he can really find talent anywhere in the first round. It concerns me, because we would be getting deeper talent at positions we already have filled Pietrus is also up for a new contract soon isn?t he? I am not familiar on if the Warriors have already signed him to an extension or not. Just letting him walk when he hits free agency would not help us, because it is just a rookie contract so does not give much cap relief, and with Gordon, Hinrich, and Deng soon to hit free agency we are in a tight spot with money, and resigning young talent. Also Foyle is a pretty bad contract to add to the cap when we are trying to free up cap room to resign Gordon, Hinrich, and Deng. We are going to lose Davis? contract at the end of next season we are not looking for a real long-term deal with a veteran at this point. With him signed through 09/10 that is not good for us. Also Nocioni really helped us out in the playoffs with his defense, and I have heard a couple times Pietrus is athletic enough to be a good defender, and is already a higher than normal defender, but Nocioni is already at that level unquestioned. He is also a guy who brings a psychological level of defense to the team by getting in guys heads he was accused of being a dirty player by a couple guys, and that is because he frustrates opponents. I do think the Curry race is down to the Bulls and Hawks. I would not do this trade if I were the Bulls. Just to many cons, and not enough pros.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kwan1031:</div><div class="quote_post">I believe Richardson's height was 6'4 1/2" without a shoe in draft camp...</div> Then I would probably measure at about 6'6" at that same draft camp. Jrich is realistically close to 6'2". I took a picture with him and my wife along with another guy I forgot what his name was. Anyways I am 6'3.25" and you can see in the pictures I am significantly taller than him. I have pretty big hands though and his hands swallowed mine. They are the biggest hands I have ever seen/felt. No wonder he can do those crazy windmill dunks while guys like Stevie Francis need to cuff the ball...

J-Rich's power forward sized hands are probably why he can do so many windmills and one-handed alley oop dunks. Also it's probably why he has a hard time dribbling the ball and dribbling it off his feet. It's like for us to be dribbling a tennis ball.

That guy had hops for how short he was. He could jump like Jrich. Too bad he could not stick around...
