or can we even waive him? arent the raps over the cap? so according to the new cba we can waive him and not have to pay him right? with all the fresh young talent we're bringing in...i would hate to see him getting minutes over graham. he was such a chucker for us last year...he barely EVER passed the ball...all he did was shoot. no matter who else was open, no matter how ugly the shot was, no matter how much time was on the clock...he was shooting. plus he still complained...i really dont want him on the team...can we get rid of him please?
We would still have to pay him and count against the cap, but we wouldn't have to pay luxury tax. Here's my trade proposal: Toronto trades: G/F Lammond Murray New York trades: A bottle of Gatorade And a towel Good trade for both teams.
Forget trading him...who wants him? Maybe during mid-season some non-contender might want him for cap space, but I rather buy out his contract know this season so it opens up a roster spot going into training camp.
Call the Lakers, they take anything <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">We would still have to pay him and count against the cap, but we wouldn't have to pay luxury tax. If we really wanted to use the salary exception rule and create some cap room, wouldn't we want to to use it on Jalen?
But Jalen's actually productive. I wouldn't mind buying Jalen out, but that would mean our team would be in full rebuilding mode, possibly the worst team this year. And we would have nobody at the 2 besides MoPete. The only reason I wouldn't buyout Lammonds contract is if it ends after this season.
Lamond's contract does end after this season. It'll be wiser on Babcock's part to deal him for a second round pick and / or a scrab.
i'd take the towel cuz those knicks towels looks cool...lol But we can prolly get like marcus fizer for him...lol Lamond is so GARBAGE matter of fact, he's worse cuz we can dump garbage but we cant dump lamond

Babcock would probably do it too.
I would rather use it on Lammond thanJalen because Jalen is productive, and despite his contract, a trade could be wokred out with him.
Give him every possession for 1 game, let him score 50 pts, hype him up, then the Lakers will trade you Bynum and Kobe for him and Jalen. Trust me the Lakers are an easy sale especially for unproven stiffs with "potential".
