"That was when people were talking about me as a late first-round pick," he said. Now 27, Phillips is still officially an NBA rookie. Wow, he's pretty old for a rookie..Doubtful he'll make the final cut, but I wish him the best of luck.
I remeber Phillips from college. If he still has his speed, and proves he can shoot consistiently, and play D of course, he's got a roster spot.
