Let's say for some strange reason the Bulls were only able to resign one of their two free agent big men. Which would you rather the bulls resign? Chandler or Curry?

For me this is a very hard descision. Both of them have their share of health issues, Curry- Irregular heartbeat and Chandler- Back problems. And both are young. Even though Chandler is a great defensive force, Good low post scoring centers just don't come around all that often. For that reason I would have to take Curry over Chandler in a close race.

Chandler, he has more upside, and doesn't have Curry's injury's. I think that Chandler would be the better bet for Chica

^^ Chandler has Back Problems. Although they both have problems i would go with Curry nowadays its hard to find a young, powerful center that can score. I know Chandler has better defense but he cant score the way Curry can.

Curry, b/c there are few players his size. I think the Bulls should try to get both back asap.

I have warmed up to Tyson over the last couple years, however, my mind says Eddy. Of course the health issues are well documented on both, however, Chandler has been suffering back issues since he's been in the "L", Curry's heart was just a recent thing. Everyone was how much he was missed in the playoffs, and a player his size with his kind of scoring ability just doesnt walk into the gym too often. Now,Chandler is a better rebounder and shot blocker, however, when motivated, Curry has put up a 20 board game here and there, however, Tyson just doesnt have the ability to score over 20 maybe a couple times a year. With the explosive scoring backcourt in Chicago, they need a low post preseance to offset. I would love both to come back, continue to grow together, and be an awesome frontcourt duo on both ends for years to come, however, if we could only keep one, I have to take Eddy.

In my mind it depends what you want. If you want a guy who you can rely on to put up consistent offensive numbers, and be a low post presence/ possibly a future all star you go with Eddy Curry. He has a far brighter future then Chandler at this point from what the two have shown me Chandler has never even come close to averaging the offensive numbers Curry has. Each have had one serious injury problem in their time with the Bulls Chandler with his back and Curry with his heart. Only thing that making people even think about saying Chandler is more valuable is because unlike Curry he had a chance to play after he got injured and show it was no big thing.

However, I do not want to sound like Chandler is a scrub I think he is a good defensive player, but I do not ever see him being a twenty point scorer or all star in the league. At the pinnacle of his career I think he will average 15 points with like nine or ten rebounds which is good, but I think at the climax of his career Curry will be putting up 20-25 points a game with eight rebounds. I do not know Curry is just proven more to me right now. He deserves 70-75 million Chandler has never averaged that impressive numbers so I do not think he is worth as much.

I think Chandler is the better option. They both have some health risks, but a guy who is a one man offense-wrecker in the paint is more valuable than a guy who can score 15-20 points per game. As long as Chandler can stay healthy, he's going to become an elite post defender in this league.
