But instead they traded him off for an old undersized PF, Malik Rose...O yeah and then go sign an old inconsistent Jerome James. Nazr - 9 PPG, 7 RPG, 1 BPG Malik - 7 , 4, .21 Yeah, just as good..maybe better?..I dont think so lol. So yea, I still think its a pretty dumb trade. </div> It doesn't matter; they had a better record. Do you realize how old Nazr is? He's about to be 28 in September so I don't think he classifies as a "big for their future" like you say he is. Also, you're too caught up in the stats like many people are. Malik Rose has been backing up the likes of Tim Duncan and if he went to a lottery teams consistently like Nazr has throughout most of his career, he could easily put up better numbers if given a chance. He's also a more skilled player, a much better defender. Even if you do think Nazr is a better player, what difference does it make; their impact on the Knicks is what really matters, right? And Malik has had a better impact on the Knicks than Nazr has therefore it was a better trade for the Knicks. I also see that you have neglected my other point about the two first round draft picks we received from them as well. One of them happens to be David Lee who so far seems like he is on the right track in being a better player than Nazr Mohammed ever was. Our other draft pick has the potential to exceed Nazr Mohammed?s mere 11/8 he put up when he was in New York ? let alone both of them combined. So if you don?t think all of those players aren?t worth one Nazr Mohammed than I really don?t know what to say.
