Omar Cook does have an edge over Ukic on the defensive end. But other than that, Ukic beats him on every other category like shooting / passing / dribbling / quickness and speed. Yes, quickness. Ukic is quicker than Cook. I'm not bashing Cook, because I love the way he plays but talent-wise, Ukic is just a better player. I'm dubbing him the most exciting European player after Toni Kukoc.

A taller and a better passing Hinrich that is. Hinrich is a better shooter at this point though. Someone else compared Beno Udrih as a poor man's Ukic. There isn't really any highlight reels that you can grab, other than the one for the draft, but I doubt you can find it anywhere now. I think Ukic can keep both Rose and Bosh happy with his court vision and passing ability; something that Rafer couldn't do. He said something like "I'd rather have 10 assists than 20 points on any given night" and that has to be a good sign that he's not a shoot-first point guard.
whend oes Alvin WIlliams contract expire? I would love tos ee him get some action if hes still on payroll this eason(and his leg is better). But that siad, I would liek to see Omar Cook some where in the mix. And Rafer would whoop anyone in a game of one-on-one.
alvins contract expires in 2007 if im correct... but im not sure. Hopefully Alvin can regain his abilities that he had a few years ago, but its unlikely that he will ever be the same calibre player ever again.

i dont think omar cook is slower than ukic i mean, i timed him take the ball from defense to offense in jogging motion and got it in THREE seconds...i mean i dont care how fast ukic is omar's speed is unbelieveable
