Predict the following things. 1) Will the Sixers make the playoffs? How far will they get? 2) What will the Sixers record be? What seed will they be in the East? 3) Will Andre Igoudala's stats be better, similar or worse next season? 4) Will Chris Webber develop chemistry with Allen Iverson? 5) Should the Sixers make any trades? Which ones?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1) Will the Sixers make the playoffs? How far will they get?</div> Yes. Conference Finals. However, my unbiased prediction is that they make it to the 2nd round and in which they would still have a good chance at making it to the CF, but at the end of the day, a 2nd round exit seems right (with this roster). <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">2) What will the Sixers record be? What seed will they be in the East?</div> 3rd seed. 51-31 <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">3) Will Andre Igoudala's stats be better, similar or worse next season?</div> His stats will increase just slightly, particularly his scoring. But his overall impact will sky rocket. He has a year of experience under his belt and with a full training camp worth of work and top that off with how Webber will make him excel, his importance and impact to the team will be huge. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">4) Will Chris Webber develop chemistry with Allen Iverson?</div> From a non-bias standpoint, I say yes. They will develop a chemistry far behind what everyone thought was possible. In the Pistons series they were showing a glimpse of that. They were bumping chest, C-Webb was holding A.I in the air. And honestly, the best way to develop chemistry is to just have fun. So with both of them having their minds set on a championship and then going through a full training camp under a coach they are willing to play for, things will work out very well between them. When Webber first came to Philly he severely struggled. But yet despite his struggles the team still managed to win and at the end of they were about 4-6 game over .500 with Webber on the squad. So if Webber can actually play well, who knows what will happen? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">5) Should the Sixers make any trades? Which ones?</div> A trade would be nice. But a big time trade is no needed. Just a signing of a semi-top FA would do. If anything the only trade I would make, is a sign and trade. Sign Green and trade him for Mike Miller or some sort. I?m not really all that much into this trade, it just came off the top of my head and honestly I wouldn?t look to be trading anybody, just a FA signing would do. Ideally, Donyell Marshall would be huge.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1) Will the Sixers make the playoffs? How far will they get?</div> All I am going to say is sky is the limit if the 76ers stay healthy. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">2) What will the Sixers record be? What seed will they be in the East?</div> The 76ers should win around 45 to 50 games, I expect them to win back the Atlantic division title and be the third seed. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">3) Will Andre Igoudala's stats be better, similar or worse next season?</div> I think Andre is going to improve next year; he should be a lot more comfortable playing alongside the other AI and Chris Webber. The 76ers want him to develop his offensive game a little bit more so look for him to do that. He should be working no a go to move for next season as we speak. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">4) Will Chris Webber develop chemistry with Allen Iverson?</div> They showed that they could play together in the playoffs. People say Webber didn't play that good when we acquired him but when you look at it we became a better team after we got him. If they want to form a good chemistry both of them will have to sacrifice their games a little bit, particularly AI. AI would love not to have to handle the ball all the time and that?s where Webb comes in. I think they'll click next season if not right away they will eventually kind of like the Houston Rockets did with Tracy McGrady about half way through the season. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">5) Should the Sixers make any trades? Which ones?</div> Right now I think their roster is set. They have the team they need to play well, all they need is a better bench and to resign their free agents no trades need to be made in my opinion unless it is a block buster that benefits the upcoming season not the future.
Philly i think the 76ers will got to the championship next year they will the Atlantic Division and they will when the championship allen will not have to handle the ball as much because webber will pick up the slack. Andre will average 15 and 7 next year. I think that one big trade will help if not just trade somebody like green or salmons for a playoff type player.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Swish15:</div><div class="quote_post">Predict the following things. 1) Will the Sixers make the playoffs? How far will they get? depends, if webber and AI goes down we're screwed 2) What will the Sixers record be? Which ones?</div> yes, aaron mckie and kevin ollie to bobcats for 1st round pick C-Webb to SA for tim duncan AI to miami for dwayne wade 50 future first round picks for shaquille oneal and udonis haslem and keyon dooling andre iguodala for kobe need i say any more?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1) Will the Sixers make the playoffs? What seed will they be in the East?</div> I'm predicting 46-36. Right now, looking at the roster, I just don't think they have what it takes to drastically improve all that much. Generally, all the same players are coming back but with a bit more experience. The seed I'm guessing is 4th or 5th. Depends on how Boston will turn out. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> 3) Will Andre Igoudala's stats be better, similar or worse next season?</div> Better. He has tons more to grow and I've already heard he's working hard to improve his game in the offseason. However, stat wise, it depends on how Mo Cheeks wants to utilize him- which option he wants him to be on offense, the defensive schemes, rotations, etc. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> 4) Will Chris Webber develop chemistry with Allen Iverson?</div> Yes. They have enough time this offseason to work everything out between themselves and know their roles on the team. Hopefully, Iverson will pass the ball a bit more and Mo Cheeks will run a more team oriented strategy. Last season, Webber just didn't look like he knew what he was supposed to do on both ends of the court. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> 5) Should the Sixers make any trades? Which ones?</div> Definitely. As of now, it looks like they need to sign a powerforward (hopefully Donyell Marshall). Basically, anyone that can rebound and clean up the inside sub in for Webber or help Dalembert out. Marc Jackson just isn't going to cut it when it comes to rebounding.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">1) Will the Sixers make the playoffs? How far will they get?</div> Yes. Which ones?</div> I'm not going to make any trades up right now, because I don't feel like doing that right now, but all I'll say is they should aquire another big men to improve the frontcourt.
I think they will make the eastern conference championship game and maybe even take it out. They will go 52 - 30 win the atlantic and be the 3rd seed. Iggy will put up better numbers, he will score more and his impact in every game will be bigger. He will avg 12-15 pts 7-8 rbs 6ass 3stls. He will be our Scottie Pippen over the next decade. Webber and Iverson both want to win so bad. They have worked well in patches and with a full pre season and training they will co exist excellently. No trades are needed just bring back our free agents and maybe get Shareef or Donyell as a free agent to really mix it up!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting yao ming:</div><div class="quote_post">yes, aaron mckie and kevin ollie to bobcats for 1st round pick C-Webb to SA for tim duncan AI to miami for dwayne wade 50 future first round picks for shaquille oneal and udonis haslem and keyon dooling andre iguodala for kobe need i say any more? </div> LOL Then you wake up.
1) Will the Sixers make the playoffs? How far will they get? Si Senior they will make the playoffs. This is my bold prediction for the upcoming season they will get to the Eastern conference finals, and depending on there health they might be able to win it. I think it will be either them against the Pistons or Bulls I do not see the Heat making it back there Shaquille O?Neal just does not have enough diesel left in the tank any more. The playoffs MVP duo of C-webb and Allen Iverson will average over fifty points in the playoffs with AI averaging over thirty a game and Webber over twenty five a game. Yes you heard it here. 2) What will the Sixers record be? What seed will they be in the East? 53-30 They will be the Atlantic division champions so will have at least the third seed in the playoffs. I think they will be the second seed in the eastern conference with the Heat being the third seed. I know its bold, but I think with Cheeks at the helm and the Webber injury being a full two years removed from the surgery, because that is the recovery period needed. 3) Will Andre Igoudala's stats be better, similar or worse next season? It will be better I think Korver will be gone next season, and Andre will average 15 points a game next season. He will further develop his jump shooting ability and also his rebounding and passing game. He will be the team?s third leading scorer, and will step up and flourish in the playoffs like Martin did a few years ago with New Jersey. 4) Will Chris Webber develop chemistry with Allen Iverson? I think my predictions for questions one to three have made my answer to this one clear. Yes they will have chemistry I think they had chemistry last season, but with JO at the coaching position it did not allow Webber to use his abilities to the fullest extent, also add in the injury and that was a hard situation. 5) Should the Sixers make any trades? Which ones? If they make any trades it should be a sign and trade with Kyle Korver going to some team and us getting expiring deals in return.
</div> How can you trade AI? He lives and breathes philly, I just can't see him in another uniform..and 50 future first round picks is a lot... 1) Will the Sixers make the playoffs? How far will they get? Yes they will make the playoffs and reach the nba finals. They have a nice core of players, Korver won't choke in the playoffs, CWebb's knee will be better (hopefully) and will redeem himself, Dalembert is going to explode this season, and AI is going to be the Answer. They gave the Pistons a scare.. 2) What will the Sixers record be? What seed will they be in the East? 49 to 52 games won, 3rd to 4th seed.. 3) Will Andre Igoudala's stats be better, similar or worse next season? Better, but not by much, Iggy did a little bit of everything 4) Will Chris Webber develop chemistry with Allen Iverson? Yes, they will be the best 2 punch combo next season 5) Should the Sixers make any trades? Which ones? Maybe try to get a sign in trade for Green cuz he looks like he's going to leave, but Green will probably just sign somewhere else. The sixers could stregthen their bench by trading, who knows..
I have to say, some of you are REALLY optimistic. Conference Finals? NBA Finals?? I'm not saying it would never happen, but the chances are slim to none. They would have to play Detroit, Indiana or Miami in the second round, and I don't think the Sixers are better than any of those teams.

[quote name='holyace2k2']How can you trade AI? They set the bar high before the season and hope their team does the same. Luckily there are things like injurys that could help the Sixers get past those teams like Pistons got past Indiana and Miami.

Infact I didn't say they wouldn't make the ECF, I just said there's a really slim chance they would make it that far with others teams like Detroit, Miami, and Indiana that they would have to face. I enjoy reading other people's opinions, but I can tell there is obviously some bias in this topic.

1) Will the Sixers make the playoffs? How far will they get? Unless they make another trade right now I see the Sixers in the second round and then done. They need one more guy that can hit the boards, then I see them in the Conference Finals. 2) What will the Sixers record be? What seed will they be in the East? 46-36. Sixth seed in the east. The Sixers do have a chance to win the Atlantic Division and grab the third seed but I don't see it happening over the Nets. 3) Will Andre Igoudala's stats be better, similar or worse next season? No question they will be better. Last year as a rookie he was exposed to the NBA right away, with no experience and he played great. Now this year, with a years experience under his belt, I can see 12-15 points a game, with around six boards, and a couple of steals. 4) Will Chris Webber develop chemistry with Allen Iverson? Yes. These players both have one goal in their mind and that is to win an NBA championship before they retire. Unless one of them gets traded, they are going to have to make do with what they have, come together, and make a run at it. 5) Should the Sixers make any trades? Which ones? Definitely. Everybody around the division has got better from the draft and free agents and the Sixers have just sat there. I would trade for a forward that can grab some boards such as Reggie Evans, Drew Gooden, Udonis Haslem, or PJ Brown. I would love to see Steven Hunter come in here as a free agent as well.
The Nets? I don't see them winning the Atlantic. We will have a better record then the Nets. Do you really think Vince Carter can put up those numbers again for a full year with RJ back? They still have no big men, and should have drafted one or traded up to grab one. I think Shareef will sign with someone else and force them to sign a guy who isn't that great. The free agent crop isn't that good for PF this year (Curry, Chandler, Dalembert are C). I don't think they could put up a better record than us as long as Webber and AI stay healthy and devolep some chemistry.
