This is simple you say who's been the best suns player in history or who's your favorite Suns player.

The best Suns? player of all-time has to be Charles Barkley with Steve Nash being a close second. He was the MVP of the league, took the Suns to the finals, helped them match their best record ever, and he also was quite a character both on and off the court. His numbers statistically were much better than Nash?s and when you take into consideration he was only an inch or two taller than Nash, you have no choice but to be impressed.

If Nash, however, can deliver a championship to the Suns, than I would have to choose him over Barkley regardless of Barkley?s achievements because winning is the most important thing and being the main component on a championship team is far more rewarding than being the main component on a Finals team.

Eventually Amare might be able to make that list because he?s so young and talented. If at age 22 he?s putting up 26ppg including dropping almost 40 points in a series against the Spurs, who knows what he?ll be able to do in his prime. Those skills of his can certainly make him the most dominant force in the NBA soon and after seeing the effects of a dominant big man, it won?t be a stretch to think of Amare winning a couple of rings with the Suns in the future.

Kevin Johnson, although my answer comes with complete bias.

Charles Barkley was the best without a doubt. He wasn't my favorite though...

My favorite player is Amare because he's so exciting and explosive but Barkley has been the best with Nash on his tail

I guess there could be some agruements and say that KJ has been the best player in a suns jersey.

KJ! He defined the team. Explosive! Amare MAY become the best ever if he continues learning and grows past the drive-with-the-shoulder-spin-to-the-left one trick pony show he's been putting on (although it is quite a show). KJ is my favorite of all time personally. He was capable of 20-5-10 and a block or two to boot.
