i just wanted to know who you think the worst team will be next year.

For me it would have be the Browns. They basically striped the Defense, and the offense is unproven. Without Winslow hurts them a lot. and they will lose every divison game

    Runner up
    1. Titans- keep on getting rid of key guys, and McNair is constanly hurt and without a good O line he wont get much help.
    2. San Francsico- Alex Smith is gonna be thrown into a bad offense, wont do much because he doesnt have a good proven running game.
    3. Saints- Without doing much to that horrible defense, and Haslett under extreme pressure i see them falling in a hard conference.
    4. Dolphins- Trying to switch to the 3-4 with small linebackers is gonna be hard to do. Need to get a good QB to go to next level

1.49ers for me. They just don't have that good of a team.
    2.Browns come in a close 2nd.
3.dolphins distractions with ricky and they lost a couple solid players.

Your knowledge about the Saints is very little. They've done alot to their defense and they'll prove it this year.

Charles Grant, Darren Howard and Will Smith are top 3 for best DE combo.

McKenzie, Brown, D. Smith and Bullocks are 10x better then last years DB unit.

James Allen, Colby Bockwoldt and Courtney Watson are young players with potential, along with Alfred Fincher, Levar Fisher and Cie Grant.

Now are DT unit, i can say is pretty shitty.

The Saints have bulked up their O line and plan on using stud FB Mike Karney alot more instead of that shitty two tight end set. So expect Deuce to eat any defense he plays.

    You'll see.

Saints had the worse defense in football last year. There DE's aren't that great. They are decent but not top 3. DT's are gonna get ran all over. They have unproven horrible LB's. DB's McKenzie and Smith are the only ones worth mentioning. So they are gonna get lit up. They are gonna probably bring up the rear in that divsion this season.

I don't know about brining up the rear they'll get atleast 3rd if not higher, They have an explosive enough offense to have a legitmate chance at contending.

    Worse than the Packers? [IMG]

Miami will be not be in the running for worst in 2005. I can give 3 reasons why; Saban, Houck, & Linehan. Simply put, the change in philosophy & a hands on, detail oriented coaching staff will make marked improvement.

FWIW, the Dolphins are NOT changing to the 3-4. I believe you have them confused w/ Dallas. Saban will use multiple looks from both the 3-4 & 4-3.

The worst 2 will be; SF & Cleveland IMO

Saints have a BAD defense, most of the starters are returning for the Saints and they will still be a BAD defense.

And ESPN says Saban is going to use the 3-4 but without the talent for the 3-4 he will be forced to switch back to the 4-3 untill he can get some real atheltes in there

Y'all are forgetting that the Saints defense was ranked 32nd and they still got to .500

Just think if their defense was in the top 20. Easily 10-6.

Easily huh. In consistent Aaron Brooks and a team that has always been on the break of a playoff birth and they always choke about half way through the season and come on towards the end. They need consistentacy and I don't think this is the year now that the Falcons and Panthers are solid teams and the Bucs are up and coming.

the big reason why you guys won 8 games is because the Bucs and Panthers had a off year and that wont happen this year. I see you winning one game in the divison against the bucs and thats it. Falcons will run over you with Vick. Panthers will overwhelm your offense and defense. The bucs will win one game and lose one game against you guys. Final record 5-11

Browns, they have no defense at all, and Reuben Droughns is a classic example of the Denver rushing system, aka cant-do-it-anywhere-else runningback. The Bucs might actually make the playoffs.

This is paraphrased from one of Saban's interviews about draft time. Their DC has experience w/ the 4-3. Saban has always used the 4-3 but then I could be way off base as ESPN knows all.
