I heard people in another thread say there was a possibility of a Ruben Patterson and Theo Ratliff for Brian Grant rumor going around. Can anyone confirm this?

There are a million Laker rumors going around. I tend not to believe them unless they get noted by David Aldridge.

That wouldn't help us much. Getting ratliff would only be good if he was waived by the blazers and then we signed him for way less money. The only way this would happen is because he'd be getting 2 salaries and would settle for less..

Anything right now would be better than Grant. Theo has a nice reputation for his shot blocking, and playing the PF spot on the Lakers, along with Antonio Daniels and Kobe Bryant would make them a very defensive team. And Lamar Odom and Kobe will provide the offense. Now that we got Ronny Turiaf, a possible Jannero Pargo and Ruben Patterson, we will have a pretty solid bench.
