The game was today, I didn't go but I saw some highlights. CV off thebackboard to himself with one hand. Bosh with an alley to himself (with hair). Bosh to Bonner for the oop. Nash playing soccer.

Was Amare at the game? I didn't see any highlights from him.

AI wasn't there even though he was in TO. Probably at some Caribanna jam. Which is obviously more important than playing in a charity event.

Just got back from the game... it was alright, not much better or worse than the Carter games imo...

The players were divided into East and West:

    East:
    C. Villanueva
    C. Bosh
    M. Peterson
    J. Rose
    M. Bonner
    A. Iguodala
    J. Pargo

    West:
    D. Gooden
    S. Marion
    J. Johnson
    M. Cleaves
    S. Nash
    R. Davis (his name was called in the starting lineups but he didnt show??)

    Some thoughts:
-Iguodala couldn't seem to jam the ball in
-Nash was impressive in his soccerbball dribbles down the court
-CV3 had a case of butter fingers... is it a sign of things to come?
-No AI, no Finley, no Amare, but too much Gooden..

Not a lot of big names. I was expecting better names than that.

Banks did you go see Jay-Z???

That was some big sh*t going down at Queen Street @ Much Music... Jigga in Canada... wow.

That was a great show, I really wish I could've gone. Might've been just as good as the Kanye concert I went to.

People seem to always be scheduled to come, but just don't show up. Iverson was supposedly in the area even, but I guess he had other things to do.

Was Mateen Cleaves always supposed to be there, or was he a last minute addition?

I like Hove, but Kanye is my main man... I've been a Kanye fan since day one, not sure why but his music just hits the spot...

The game really did seem like a disapointment, I mean so many big names weren't there... Nash must have feel jipped same with the fans...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Banks:</div><div class="quote_post">How does Pargo get invited to all these charity games?</div>Pargo was actually one of the more exciting players to watch in the game. He was pulling off some sick and1 type moves....

Overall though, I agree w/ everyone else, the game was quite a disappointment. Even the free t-shirt I got from the chicks throwing them into crowd was a disappointment. I was looking forward to seeing Amare but the guy didn't even show up. It sucks b/c a lot of the guys decided not to show up, even Eduardo Najera figured he was too cool to make an appearance.

I guess the highlight of the game was when Marion started dancing w/ some dance group during a break. He's freakin hilarious [IMG]

I saw some highlights on CTV last night and it didn't seem too bad. I was definitely disappointed though because of some of the no-shows like Amare, Iverson and Rafer. It still looked like the players had a good time with Bosh (and his hair) dribbling down the court throwing an alley to Bonner, Nash dribbling the ball up the court -- with his feet! For me, I think I'd still like to see the charity game over Jay-Z and Kanye at Much.

It kinda remids me of Vince's charity games when Shammond, Vince, Shawn and Mo would start dancing with the raptors dance pak.

Oh yeah and I think I saw Nash dancing in there too. He's a weird dancer [IMG]

Finley was in the crowd, didn't play. Apparently Ricky Davis and a bunch of others were even in the arena, but didn't play. But alot of people were there for iverson, which wasa let down for them.

And where the hell did all these mo pete fans come from?

Overall, I hope next years is a lot better.

Finley was injured so he couldn't participate, but at least he decided to make an appearance and shoot around prior to tip-off.

Oh, I didn't know that some players danced w/ the dance pak in previous charity games (this one was only the second charity game I've been to). I guess Marion wasn't being as original as I thought [IMG]. Nash's dance was actually pretty hilarious too.... he got the crowd into it and everything.

He was a last minute addition..... and if it wasn't for him, the west would've only had 4 players, which would've sucked.

The game wasn't as good as first thought perceived, but I guess they still did their damn best at making it entertaining. I would like to see Marion and Nash dance with the cheerleaders... probably get a couple touches in between as well. Lol.

I read in the globe that Allen Iverson missed his flight because of a family emergency.

There was no reason for Ricky Davis though.

I hope Nash hosts another charity game next year, because I want to catch one.

Load of crap... A.I was in T.dot for Carabana and just was out partying or something. If it was a family emergency, it was probably A.I shooting his wife... [IMG]
