The NFC South has the hardest defensive schedule by far. All 4 teams play these defenses. THe Saints by far have the toughest defensive schedule in the league. <u>Falcons</u> Patriots Bills Jets Dolphins Eagles Panthers 2x Bucs 2x Bears <u>Panthers</u> Pats Bills Jets Dolphins Bears Falcons 2x Bucs 2x Cowboys <u>Saints</u> Patriots Bills Jets Dolphins Falcons 2x Panthers 2x Bucs 2x Bears Giants <u>Bucs</u> Patriots Jets Bills Dolphins Falcons 2x Panthers 2x Redskins Bears
If your going to discuss the hardest schedules, you have to eliminate any team playing in the NFC. The conference is waaaaaaay too soft right now.
the only reason you guys have the hardest is because everyone in the South expect saints have top 10 defenses
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>the only reason you guys have the hardest is because everyone in the South expect saints have top 10 defenses</div> To be honest, the Bucs are the only defense in the top 10.
Yes, I looked, but simply being an NFC team means playing 12 games versus NFC teams against 4 games versus much tougher AFC teams. It's not even close to being fair.
im not talking about last year, im talking about this year. Panthers will have the best defense by far. They now have a great secondary and with their d-line heathly it will dominate. Preseason polls have them at #4 defense. Atlanta's D is gonna be good under Jim Mora. With Hartwell coming over he is gonna be a force in the divison.

Adding Lucas is huge, but it's not going to change much. Panthers secondary has always been top 5. Panthers led the league in takeaway INT's (26) Saints led the league in takeaway Fumbles. (20) Bucs were 1st in the league against the pass. (161.2) Falcons..........well, lets just say they can thank Vick for their success.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (porky88)</div><div class='quotemain'>AFC East has the hardest schedule in football.</div> Thank You...because thats where the real defenses are...nevermind we have to play the steelers, colts, chargers, broncos, and cheifs, all playoff teams and hte cheifs will contend this season...nevermind a few of the good NFC teams in Carolina and and Atlanta...though I'm not sold that Vick can effectively move the ball on a good defense but anything can happen indoors during the regular season I guess...
In the NFC the hardest divison is the South, in the AFC it is the AFC East or North. The Pats, and Jets will win lots of games, but the Bills with Losman can go only as far as Losman takes them. Miami needs time to rebuild. In the AFC North you have 3 winning programs next year. Steelers have maybe the best defense, and Roethsberger will be better next year. Ravens have a great defense and the offense is getting better. Bengals have a great offense with Palmer at QB. The defense is improving. Browns are gonna suck next year. I think overall records both divisons will tie in 2005. because AFC East has 2 great teams 2 good teams. The AFC North has 3 great teams and one bad team.
The NFC South is by far the toughest in the confernce. In the AFC thre WEST is tough as well. Denver is still got a playoff caliber team as does KC and SD.
O yea i forgot about them. Man the AFC is hard. You got 4 playoff caliber teams in the West. the AFC South is the weak link. only 2 playoff caliber teams.
Yea I actually think the AFC WEST is the hardest divsion in football. 1. AFC West 2. AFC North 3. NFC South 4. AFC East 5. NFC North 6. AFC South 7. NFC East 8. NFC West
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>NFC west is a joke. I see Cardinals sneaking up and winning the divison this year</div> I dissagree. The Cardinals have an unproven RB. How many playoff teams play with a Rookie RB lately. They have a average defense and Warner has lost his touch. The Rams have a team that is 2 years off a 12-4 season. They also won a playoff game last season. The Seahawks are also a team that has been to 2 consective playoffs and still have the majoriy of their players from that team. Cards are the most overhyped team coming into this season.
Its really a toss up between Rams, Seahawks and Cardinals. 49ers have no chance. I think Dennis Green will keep Warner in all year unless he get injuried because he doesnt like McNown. Even when they were doing pretty good he benched McNown and didnt win another game.
Maybe it's just because I hate Warner. Whenever he struggles it seems like him and wife Brenda complain about injuries. She went on a radio station in St. Louis after he got benched and talked about he had a bad thumb and wasn't given a fair chance. Ever since then he has been crap and I don't expect him to be any better.
I think he has one more good year in him. In Arizona he has 3 good WRs. The offensive line will be better than the giants. Next year they should draft Chris Leak with the #13th draft pick in 06. Then they would have a young and explosive offense
