well i was just wondering how everyones summer is? how much you are looking toward to the upcoming 05-06 season and what do you hope the rockets will achieve?
I'm taking summer classes here at UCLA. It's alright so far. Trying to bulk up too. With the signing of Swift, I'm VERY excited now. We finally have an athletic player on the roster other than McGrady now... When I look back on our past season, it was quite amazing to see what the team accomplished with the unathleticism that they had.. The Rockets was probably the most unathletic team in the NBA last season and we took Dallas to 7 games.. So yeah, I'm excited to see what Swift can do for us and what CD have lined up in terms of trades and such.
It's nice to be back again! Sorry guys for being quiet for a long time. I've been very busy from work and have to attend a training and seminar(all expense paid) in Miami for our new Lab equipment. By the time I was back I have to train my co-staffs and have to work different shifts because someone was on vacation. Thank God! This week I'll be back to my regular shift. BTW I'm glad about how the Rockets are doing this summer. First and foremost is the signing(although not yet finalized) of Stromile Swift. Then the Summer League Rocket team. As of now they're already 4-0. Baxter and Glover have been very impressive while rookie Luther Head has been promising. I think Badiane is still raw and might have to play overseas.

I thinking about going to a college in California- maybe Berkeley? I don't know, there's way too much colleges and the future to think about.
Well In Auystralia its Winter right now. Its freezing, but I'm more a winter person than a summer person anyway. I've had a 1 month break from university and I return in less than 2 weeks. As for the offseason, I'm pleased about the Swift deal. I didn't think he was the best choice, but now we have him I'm liking it.

right now I'm takin summer classes at San Jac and working...so my summer has been busy......but I've been lookin forward to the '05-'06 season since we lost by 40.....I'm really excited about this upcoming season.
AznBaller, make sure you visit the colleges before you commit to them. You'll be living in that place for 4 years, so look around, and if you're looking into colleges in CA, l can help you narrow down places. Summer? It has been alright. Been around the house..Six Flags: Astroworld. Been with my girlfriend almost everyday. Just left a week ago to help my dad move to Dallas for more money..and he got declined..so, I'm in Oklahoma with grand-parents. Summer hasn't been good..so..yeah. Go Rockets and Astros though!

I'm on the same boat as Dakeem, i'm freezing here in Australia, actually todays not too bad, It was raining alot and I didn't get to outside and work on my jumper and when the rain finally stopped I went out to go shoot and everything was off, I couldn't hit a shot, terrible..just terrible, and Social basketball season starts in about 2!
well its been rainingalot over here and ive been working and today was one of the most aggrivating day at work it was lik ei had a sign on the drive thru window that said CHAGE YOUR ORDER EVERY 5 MINUTES ! PISS CHEENO OFF!, and to add to al of that i was 7 bucks short in my register man oh man im glad i dont have to work tommorow =. but hopefully im gonna get my hands across a 05 accord coupe =D by the end of this month so im happy. andrenaline, even though sometimes thigs may be at their worst, theres always the good that comes after it, so hold on a bit longer and everything will be good. thats what my parents always told me and its helped many times so i hope that it helpps you too!

What's up people! Checking in from Southern China here. Finally got some Internet access but I'm not gonna post in the Rockets forum for now. I haven't been updated on free agent signings at all, so I was pretty surprised to see that Stromile Swift was willing to sign for so little. Five years for $28 mil? I was thinking along the lines of a Mehmet Okur contract. That being said, I'm pretty optimistic about next season. Swift's decision to come to us for less might mean that he is willing to play for a title and work his hardest. Hope that he can become a force in the league, and be more than just a dunker. Also noticed in some threads that the quality of this forum has become pretty bad. We still have new members, but these guys are posting one and two-liners.
